USC wasn't supposed to be the PAC's representative. That was Oregon, until they spit the bit. But now the political positioning starts to keep the SEC at one team in the playoff. USC will be pushed by the media as an alternative to boring A&M

USC, OU/ISU - All are positioned to make things interesting if something happens with the T4

Oklahoma has beaten nobody - but since they are playing ISU for the BDF, they have to be in the T10. It's all politics, and it is NOT in the best interest of CFB that the SEC be so dominant

What would Iowa State and Cincinnati’s record be playing Florida or Georgia schedule? Ridiculous!

Why can't we just do what the other football divisions do and have a legit bracket? That's the one thing that kind of sucks about this sport because why shouldn't USC, A&M, and Cincinnati all have a chance to play for a title with similar records? Heck, if you're not even in a P5 conference but division 1, why play at all?

I was very surprised to see #25 in there, but glad to see the respect that is due.

You can’t lose at home yo an unranked team at home missing nearly their entire secondary and some OL and not expect huge consequences.

That's what is so frustrating about the playoffs. Every other college football divisions have legit playoffs but D1.
How hard can it be? Why bother even ranking Group 5 teams at all if you never let them get in the top 4 for a chance to play in the playoffs? Needs to expand it!

How do you justify USCw at #13 and OSU at #4?

Georgia would be a minimum 7 pt favorite vs Iowa State and minimum 10 pt favorite vs Cincinnati

And yes, ISU's losses have been horrific

What's really funny is ULaLa beat the breaks off ISU and is only at #18 w/a 9-1 record w/their only blemish being a close 3 point loss to undefeated #12 Coastal but ISU is somehow #8 with two losses one to an unranked Okie Light and the other a beat down from those same Cajuns.

While I don't really think losing to Okie Light on the road by 3 is horrific. Their second loss being a beatdown to UlaLa should bump them out of the top 10 though. It makes zero sense to have them that high.
