Kid, I linked 2 sources. I can understand if you didn't believe the initial deadspin article. However, the CNN article is just a bunch of facts and reports of things that have been filed.

Maybe, I can't say with 100% certainty that the deadspin source was referencing what was about to come out in the CNN article. However, the timing and amount of schools of both stories is intriguing, and I think there MAY be a correlation.
Somebody who posts on deadspin (I do not) just needs to ask the guy who originally wrote that story if this lawsuit was what he was referring to when he made the original claim of the NCAA investigating 20 schools.

Because our swim coach allowed an ineligible swimmer to swim. Alert the presses. And the teacher involved vehemently denied any wrongdoing and defended the coach who was suspended. Basically accused our compliance department of being full of shite.

Exactly. That's at least how I took it from the article. This isn't some new investigation... it's about an issue almost a decade old.

I think if CIYE had it to do over again, he would have gone to UGA, voluteered as a tutor for athletes, and helped them cheat so he could get UGA in trouble for academic fraud.
