Nice try but let’s do it since SEC Championship started in 1992!

SEC Championships didn't start in 1992.
They've been crowing SEC Championships long before that.

Interesting to see the records and which Big 6 teams you have played:

LSU/Bama-- 86 meetings; Bama leads 53-26-5
LSU/Florida-- 66 meetings; Florida leads 33-30-3
LSU/Auburn-- 54 meetings; LSU leads 33-22-1
LSU/Tennessee-- 33 meetings; Tennessee leads 20-10-3
LSU/Georgia-- 32 meetings; LSU leads 18-13-1

And my math is 271 instead of 241, unless some are pre-SEC days.

If you played in a special Olympic conference and I played in a regular conference, your winning % would probably be higher too.

Being an LSU fan you probably think football started after 2000 but most of these games were played before there were divisions.

Congratulations on your current SEC Championships. I mean that. It is an excellent achievement.

I think most people don't understand why every time somebody doesn't fawn over lSU, you guys get your feelings hurt. Every thread has to be about LSU or their latest achievement or y'all come in here enmasse and dump all over it.

It's not like Georgia was #1 on that list.

All-Time SEC Big 6 Winning %

.6258- Alabama (1)
.5033- Florida (2)
.4737- Georgia (3)
.4722- Auburn (4)
.4647- LSU (5)
.4460- Tennessee (6)
.3333- Ole Miss (7)
.3333- Missouri (7)
.3067- Arkansas (9)
.2891- Mississippi St. (10)
.2706- S. Carolina (11)
.2500- Texas A&M (12)
.2006- Kentucky (13)
.1911- Vanderbilt (14)

Total SEC Games Played Against the Big 6:

324- Auburn
300- Florida
298- Alabama
285- Georgia
250- Tennessee
241- LSU

Interesting that Tennessee and LSU have played the fewest number of games against the Big 6 out of the group, yet also have the weakest winning percentage against the Big 6.

That's not so interesting since they both play Alabama every year. The interesting part is how well Auburn has fared considering they play Alabama, LSU and UGA every year.

But ultimately, this analysis is flawed. The "Big 6" wasn't really a thing until 1992.

Consider that by 1963 Mississippi had 6 titles, pputting them tied for first with Alabama and Tennessee. Also, for the period from 1950-1070, Mississippi had the best win% nationally. Also, Florida didn't win their first SEC championship until 1991.

In short, the big 6 of today is not necessarily the big 6 of all-time, which makes comparing all-time results vs today's big 6 rather meaningless.

The SEC Championship game did. Too bad you said nothing about the SEC Championship game and specifically said SEC Championship.

Crap. Are all LSU fans as dense as you, or are you just special?

I have no problem with LSU or LSU fans, but some of you are seriously unhinged. Read your post again...or have somebody else read it for you. Then tell me who the dumb_ _ _ is.

I didn't use anything. It's not my thread. And yes. SOG did answer everything as requested. LSU fans wanted to know who had the most SEC Championships and when that didn't show LSU high enough for you, you wanted to change the criteria until it moved LSU up.

I'm sure if y'all keep moving the goalposts you can probably move above Alabama.

Hey, SOG...now do the current SEC Champion list! Just this season!

Interesting tidbits:

*Texas A&M is just 7-21 against the Big 6 since joining the league (12th best out of 14).... but they are 27-9 in all other games. That 75% win percentage against the other "Little 8" is good enough for 2nd in the league all-time, behind only Alabama (80.1%)

*With a minimum of 8 meetings total, there are only two SEC series in which a team in undefeated all-time in SEC play. Auburn is 8-0 against South Carolina and Texas A&M is 8-0 against Arkansas.

*Kentucky, Texas A&M, Missouri, and Vanderbilt have a combined 12 SEC wins all-time against Alabama from a total of 110 SEC games played.

*Over 12% of Vanderbilt's all-time SEC wins to date are against now non-members Georgia Tech, Tulane, and Suwanee.

Your first link (for some reason is not working)
I like the second link, too.

You guys have a special team this year. Enjoy it, and good luck in the playoffs!
