Not saying its a done deal, but it's looking that way.

2 air raid qbs gone. A hire on offense. Wr coach from Utah.

All points to a change in the system and a hire. But is it Briles?

To be fair, the WR coach is former MSU player Chad Bumphis and that has been a done deal since we made Arnett the head coach.

Sawyer Robertson is a big loss, dude is going to be really good wherever he ends up. Hope it's not in the SEC.

He has a close family friend on 247 who has posted since his Baylor days (Spinks) and says Briles doesn't really want to leave Arkansas but is listening to offers and we'll most likely have to pony up to keep him. I do think him working for a defensive head coach would be intriguing because he would have more control over the offense than he does currently. Apparently MSU is willing to go up to $2 Million for him.

Very small sample size but sawyer was arse in his playing time this year. He was supposed to be the chosen one.

Huh? Dude has not developed at all at State. He looked lost on the field when got to play this year.

Plus all reports from his last Spring and Fall camp have been bad.

Locke is the much much bigger loss.

Our schedule favors a good run next season 9 wins seems easily attainable.

How is he supposed to develop without playing? Will Rogers didn't exactly set the world on fire his first few times out.

Robertson is still a good player who put up disgusting numbers in high school.

I think he's going to be great, as well.

Briles could do very well at Moo State. It is a great location to recruit talent being right in the middle of the SEC. There are weapons that he could use at that school right away.

Will he go? That is the big question. He seems to love NW Arkansas and he has to be thinking that if Pittman retires in a couple of years he's the chosen one.

I think if he is offered a really nice salary and complete control of the offense he could jump ship. I also think he knows he is in a good spot right now and he might want to wait and see if he has a P5 head coach job or the job at Arkansas popping up soon.
