I don't have a dog in this fight but Saban is from a place about 30 miles down the road from me. I want to see him beat the national championship record.

30 for 30 should really do a piece on West Virginia coaches.

Saban - 2003 (LSU), 2009, 2011, 2012, 2015, and 2017. Let's be honest he'll get at least 1 more. But he's sitting at 6. Fairmont, WV

Jimbo Fisher - won the 2013 national championship. Will probably get at least one at A&M. Clarksburg, WV

Fielding Yost - credited with 6 national championships all at Michigan. 1901-1904, 1918, and 1923. He built Michigan's program. Fairview, WV

John McKay - Credited with 4 national Championships all at USC. 1962, 1967, 1972, and 1974. Made modern USC what it is. Everetville, WV (about 12 miles out of Morgantown)

Ben Schwartzwalder - Won the only National Championship for Syracuse in 1959. Coached Ernie Davis, Jim Brown, Floyd Little, Jim Nance, and Larry Csonka. Point Pleasant, WV

Lou Holtz - Won the 1988 national championship at ND. Sadly beating WVU to do it. Follansbee, WV.

It's clear from his current manic posting style that an LSU fan at some point in time stole Fried baloney's dream girl, at least from his perspective.

More likely, she just fell for South Louisiana charm over North Louisiana hick.

I do.

But I like O and that he is the coach. There has perhaps never been a better fit for any job anywhere in the history of the world.

I just hate every single one of the LSU fans. There isn't a single exception. Never met one that I thought was an enjoyable person or had any redeeming qualities.

And there is perhaps nothing trashier on the planet than 20K white children screaming STTDB.

I hate Bama, but I'm pulling for them to win by 40.

Did you cheer when Murphy's men gunned down John Tunstall in Young Guns? Did you pull for the establishment to hunt down and kill the Regulators?

The same Nick Saban, when asked about President Trump winning:

"Well to be honest with you, I didn't even know yesterday was election day," Saban said at a news conference Wednesday. "It was so important to me that I didn't even know it was happening. We're focused on other things here."

So yeah, he's a solid role model for America.
