First time I have noticed Ole Miss wearing solid white pants with navy jerseys.

I'm usually a fan on the traditional looks but this combo pops.

Pops, like it is good.

Unlike your Gator skin unis a few years back. Or our Power Ranger unis we wore against Boise State.

Poor Alabama, having to wear classic, recognizable uniforms all the time. If they were like Ole Miss, they could change up every game and probably win a lot more often.

Not sure how the Ole Miss fan base feels about it, but I hate when new coaches come in and start screwing with classic uniforms. Butch did that bullshite with Tennessee and I couldn't stand it. The Ole Miss gray pants are classic. But if they're going to wear white pants, at least wear the ones they did a year or two ago that had stripes down the leg. The all-white pants look like high school practice pants.

Ole Miss uniforms look awesome this year.

But sooner or later you need to go back to the grey pants with the red and blue stripe.

Unique and iconic

For once can I get a damn picture and not a link to a fricking dumb Twitter post that takes 30 seconds to get through some lame intro to show the fricking uniforms? For fricks sake.

It looks fine but I don’t know how I feel about changing a classic uniform. If Ole Miss fans are cool with it then great.

Ole Miss athletics colors are red and blue. White filters in on designs, and the blue ranges from Navy to Powder Blue.

The gray is from heritage of the Univeristy Grays (and other general Southern Rebellion pride) from the Civil War. In the current environment, my assumption is that the switch away from gray was a UM decision and not necessarily an Ole Miss Athletics unilateral decision. It may not be back for some time. But, again, that is just my assumption.

They were wearing them in practice a few weeks ago. I think Kiffin is just trying to be cute and wear different stuff each week. He's too used to the G5 game where they use uniform combos to attract recruits

That was my thought as well.

Gray is racist. Makes sense. Everything else is these days.

We'll see. But, there is a big difference in a practice pic and broadcast game in terms of avoiding uncomfortable conversations and negative attention. I enjoyed my time as faculty and admin at the University of Mississippi, but the sensitivity to political correctness and internal conflict from and denial of its historical customs, traditions and influences are unlike any other place I have seen.

That said, I love the gray. I personally miss the Rebelletes in mini Confederate Gray unis as well.

They are, still, the Rebels afterall. But, hiding the gray unis and keeping the Rebel name is a total UM admin move.
