I don't think Huff would be the best fit, but who else are you going to get in this cycle?

Its easy for fans to say bring Mullen back but apparently that bridge has been destroyed. Someone's going to take a shot at Newberry (Navy) and that may be a good fit for Oklahoma State if they can't convince Robinson to leave the Falcons.

All that matters to a state fan is that Ole Miss sucks too.

You dogs are pathetic.

I’m not sure why Lebby would go for that unless he’s been told to find a soft landing.

I don't believe that.

I'm happy for my Ole Miss friends.

Sure, Jan.

You start every day hoping Lane has left and Ole Miss will struggle.

The poorest SEC school is still a rich school. State can pay a coach. I am of the opinion you have to keep Lebby and hope the wins come. It’s just been an awful year but no denying there is significant improvement.

But Lebby isnt worth a bidding war with Oklahoma State.

Apologies. I was not clear.

How much would Cowbell have to pay Okie Lite to take him?

A lot of schools are going to find out that very few “big” names exist and most aren’t leaving where they currently are. NIL is going to dramatically reduce the number of big time coaches in the next 5 years or so. I could absolutely see Dabo and Kirby hanging it up in the next 5 years or so especially Kirby.

Silverfield would be who I throw a bag at. I think he’s going to turn out to be the most successful of the last 3 Memphis head coaches (Fuente, Norvell, himself).

I’m surprised nobody has picked him up yet and that Arkansas isn’t eyeing him

This might just work...Lebby is 41 and we know that Oklahoma State has done well when their coaches are able to exclaim they are 40.

Just seeing/hearing it amongst MSU fans. Haven't seen anything definitive. That's why its a rumor.

Here's my chaos theory:

Kiffin to Florida
Fickel to LSU
Lebby to Oklahoma State
Malzahn to Arkansas (Freeze fired at AU)
Franklin to Auburn
Lea to Virginia Tech
Sumrall to Vanderbilt
Sark to Tennessee Titans
Elko to Penn State
Lanning to Texas
Dillingham to Texas A&M

State and Ole Miss fighting over scraps

This is what drug use does to the brain.

It's not an unexpected rumor.... it was mentioned by Neal McCready over a month ago. State fans played it off as Ole Miss was trying to stir up some coaching controversy because y'all were 4-0 at the time and Ole Miss was scared, so they had to get a distraction going. Haha

Malzahn to Arkansas

Will never happen. Hog fans would revolt. Besides, Gus has burned all bridges that lead back to Arkansas when he would use Arkansas as leverage to get raises at Auburn.

I like Golesh and Silverfield.
