I think Bama's FA list is
Maze - steelers
Hanks - skins
Watkins - titans
Harris - Falcons
Mccollough - ravens
Jones - jaguars
Just waiting on Vlachos, who will sign somewhere soon, possibly Raiders.
At present that makes 14 guys either drafted (8) or signed as a FA from last yrs team. Also, at present. That makes 6 first rounders from the '08 recruiting class with B. Jones & R. Lester as possibilities next yr.

Highly doubt Lester is a 1st rd option.

I agree but you never know, he is better than a lot of safeties out there.

I can see a Nick Saban coached safety sneaking into round one, particulary if the NFL continues to go tight end crazy.

Esp one that has started 3 years. But it will depend on his combine. If he does terrible he will fall.

Depends on his season, his 40 time, and his interviews. He cld easily sneak into late 1st rnd. He'll be all SEC next yr. he is an NFL caliber safety.
As for Vlachos, I didn't say he'd make a club. I said he'd sign a FA contract. He will.

This has got to be a joke? Someone actually picked up our tackling dummy?? They must really need someone else to pick on in practice and show how NOT to block. Has anyone heard anything about Brandon Bolden?
