It is relevant. Nutt is trying to prove that the NCAA violations were Freeze's doings and not his. They're basically doing the investigatory work the NCAA should have been doing all along. By proving Ole Miss and Freeze's indiscretions, they are making their case that Freeze putting this all on Nutt was bullshite and damaging to Nutt's reputation.
And as an aside, relevant or not, if this digging shows that Freeze was a predator to minor children, then he deserves everything that comes from it. Losing his job at Ole Miss doesn't make up for that. However, I still believe it's relevant as well if Ole Miss knew about it when they hired him. it just furthers their case for Ole Miss' LOIC pertaining to Hugh Freeze.

I received a text from a source (friend of mine) who told me about Freeze's calls 2 weeks before the story broke. I was hesistant to believe him until it actually happened. Well.....he texted me back again yesterday, and said that sometime this week we could hear about the escorts being for recruits, and in numbers approaching 100...I find it hard to believe, but my friend was spot on 3 weeks ago. I have a hard time believing the Briarcrest story and I think this is what Steve is referring too.

I think 100 may be overstepping but I don't find it hard to believe he arranged escorts. It's not like a coach hasn't done the exact same thing (see Rick Pitino)

I don't. I'm from Memphis. I went to a different private school but if you know anything about the social spectrum in Memphis, the private school community is like a small town. If there is dirt or rumors about someone, you'll eventually hear about it. These stories about Freeze have been around for a long, long time.

Then why the hell would we just hear about it now? All these people pretending like they know shite is pissing me off. If y'all had known this shite, where were you when Hugh was hired? The only accurate predictions I've seen on this board are broad statements like "Hugh is in deep shite" or "Ole Miss is fricked."
With how many rich OM fans live in Memphis and send their kids to private school, I have trouble believing one of the parents or family friends of an abused girl wouldn't have ruined Hugh immediately.
