It's a pretty simple thing that would be easy to believe. How stupid are you?

Hey, I thought everybody here was too sane and rational to be hanging out at Rupp Rafters?

It was posted by one of the Rivals staff on the paid HOB board. But thanks for trying.

All I know is that Donovan has had our number as a player and coach.
This would be a grand slam hire. Just look at how the Gators have taken a step back since he left.

Take on Donovan. I think UK talks to his rep. If he says they are interested, if it seems enough interest, wait.

Donovan hasn't coached college in NIL. Of of the requirements for Cal was he had to let the athletics dept rum his NIL. I suspect Donovan would welcome the help navigating it.

If that happens and we wait, it's 1989 all over again. He will likely have Sheppard and Perry, and maybe one or two others and has to hit the portal hard. When does it end?
I could see us having a so so season this next year, then full on next year. And remember Donovan was here in 1989 so he knows how to do it.

Have you considered taking a break from the internet? And seeing a psychiatrist?

RR is their free forum. The rumor started with a post by a legitimate Rivals staffer (Justin Rowland) on House of the Blue. It wasn’t just some random fans that made it up. I’m not saying it’s legitimate. I’m telling you why it was brought up on the free board.

Have you considered returning to your thread where you’re wailing about the state of Kentucky Basketball instead of being an idiot in this one?

Pretty big difference between salaries, contracts, a draft versus wild West, bidding wars, and having to work with local car dealerships to arrange pay for play. Oh, and having to rerecruit the same kids every year.

Kentucky fans on Nate Oats:

quote:

His five year resume is better than Bruce Pearl's 10 at auburn

quote:

I have Oats edging out Donovan on my list as well. Younger and hungrier. We would know his motivations.

quote:

Nate Oats, give him 10 mil.
He would be my number one target if I was Mitch. Young guy that is a great recruiter motivational coach that is hungry to win a championship. Go get Oats and bring him to Lexington. Boosters of this program need to make this happen.

quote:

He just went to the Final 4 at Alabama

quote:

He's been winning all the conference titles, been the #1 overall seed and made a Final Four all in the last few years. Plus he places a huge emphasis on analytics. What else could he possibly do besides winning the title (which would make him untouchable)?

This IS a thread about the dismal state of Kentucky basketball. So I am pretty comfortable here.

And to not have a clue about how legitimate the rumor is, you sure as hell ran with it in this thread.

I literally asked Bama fans to confirm or deny. If I wanted to "run" with it, it could've gotten its own thread.

Tuscaloosa, who apparently has more sense than you do, confirmed that he had only heard that from UK people. And that was it.

So frick off.
