I'm waiting for the first team to pull an NFL move and rest their starters for the game.

South Carolina is not making the playoff and they destroyed A&M
Give Notre Dame an SEC schedule and see if they're .500 at the end of conference play
and SC was so close to beating Bama and LSU. They were a play or two away from being in the playoff mix.

Georgia is still a championship program and showed it in the second half. I am just happy Bama showed that it is a championship program as well. If you watched that whole game you saw college football at its absolute best.

Spurrier was the only one worth a listen
I actually loved listening to Saban because he was so good out sending out meeages to the players and fan base. Also, his rants were priceless. I never knew what a tin horn was until his rant about the Georgia Southern triple option.

Nailed it!!! Jerry Kill is very unappreciated coach due to his health problems.

aTm being at the top is just a joke, but whatever, its a video game and whoever was in charge of that part was probably just an aggie.
I will admit LSU at night is the loudest place I've ever been. Jordan Hare and Neyland I would rank about the aggies. I would put Bryant Denny behind Kyle Field and just above Williams Brice

Because we're selling something a little differently and that is: We want to recruit, we want to engage, build relationships, develop, retain, and have success.
"We're not in the market of buying players. And unfortunately, right now, that's what some guys are looking for. They want to be bought."
Funny, there seem to be very few coaches who actually follow that advise. If that were true Kelly would still be at Notre Dame and DeBoer would be at Washington
re: Since 1992 start of divisions who are the 2nd to 5th best football coaches? Saban easy #1
Posted by TKCBama on 5/8/24 at 2:07 pm
Georgia hasn't lost a regular season game in three years. If the Dawgs run the table next year they will have won three of four national titles. That would make Kirby a strong second and closing in on Saban

Is Birmingham Southern University's shutting down due to lack of enrollment caused by being in such a bad part of town?
The answer is yes. If they would have moved the campus to the suburbs they would be thriving. The brutal rape, torture, and murder of one of their coeds in the 70s started the downfall

And hell even Alabama. Ever hear of Prichard, Alabama? was lovely when I grew up there and Chickasaw in the 70's. Now it's a shithole.
I don't know what's worse Prtchard or Bessemer. All I know is that I feel safer in Walker Co than Bessemer

Nelson or Namath

All I know is that Donovan has had our number as a player and coach.
This would be a grand slam hire. Just look at how the Gators have taken a step back since he left.

I hate saying this as a Vol hater but I would be more than happy to see Rick Barnes make it to another final four. One of the better coaches in the country who gets a bad rap for lack of tournament success.

Doubtful you get a coach in your top 10. Kentucky just doesn’t have the pull they used to.
That's what they said about Bama football in 2007. Kentucky will find their guy. I'm just happy it won't be Oats.

Actually, I don't think he'd put this out tonight if he was leaving. There would be no reason. Don't over think this.

The brass at Arkansas are probably too sanctimonious to drop a dime for Wade.
I expect they'll hire a relatively unknown coach on the cheap or possibly promote Keith Smart.
If you go this route then Bucky McMillan at Samford would make me take notice. He will be at an elite program one day. He would be my first choice to replace Nate Oates at Bama.
Who Will Jimmy Sexton Select?
Posted by TKCBama on 1/10/24 at 6:46 pm
I am curious. Sexton is the primary mover in the coaching searches. With all the ESPN talking heads pointing toward Dan Lenning makes me curious. Is this to leverage a pay raise or will he be an actual candidate?

He's just an angry little fella. Maybe he can assemble a line up by mid February to make another run in the NCAA
