Win the championship?

Everyone is already crowning UGA as national champions and there’s still a lot of football that has to be played. Fans are going to be in mouryfor a long time if they don’t win it this year. You can sense their desperation….it’s this year or…well…we don’t know when.

A few message board folks? Maybe.
True fans? Nah.
Georgia is having a very fun and memorable season—regardless of what the remainder of the season holds.

This year is set up for a fool-proof UGA natty. EVERYbody is down this year and they are up big time. It would have to be the greatest collapse in the history of sport for them not to win it, and that aint gonna happen. Dawgs are 21 pts better than anyone in the country including Bama. Even UGA can't frick this up at this point.

Well of course if it had been 41 yrs since Bama won it and we finally had a team that had put it all together I’d be upset too.

Yet they have been doing it since 1981.

I appreciate the sentiment here, but if you're going to insult someone for being inbred, please use the correct form of you're.

Yeah they've had some good teams that could have won it if the chips fell right, but this year they have their best team in a year when other threats are down. There is no way they can frick it up. Bama has no shot in the SECCG and even if they did somehow find the magic to beat them, there's zero chance they beat them twice. If UGA wins the SECCG then Bama doesn't make the playoff and they cruise through the playoffs because the other teams are shite this year. tOSU? nah. Oregon? they lost to Stanford. Cincy? please... Michigan? Mich St? come on now.

There is literally no way UGA can frick this up.

Why? It's not different than any other team that comes close and doesn't win.

Take it from a Georgia fan to know all about the correct form of inbreeding.

It would be a crushing blow. The SAME as it would be for any fan base. Clearly the best team.

Don't know, but at least I won't have to listen to them barking in public for a few months. The women are the worst.

This thread has been made every week since we became "anointed". Why don't you go back and see what those say?

I think talking about Jimbo Fisher being "stolen" from Texas A&M by LSU is a MUCH more interesting topic and not discussed nearly as much.

UGA will be fine. A lot of times it’s the year after “the year” that turns out to be the year.

1997 was supposed to be Tennessee’s year, for example.

Plus, the way Bowlcut recruits, they will have a punchers chance every year.
