Bama and its remoras. Where are all those remoras now? Remember that Tiger Woods commercial where everybody is spraying it all over the driving range and Tiger walks up and they all sync to him, then he walks away and they fall apart? For some reason I’m reminded of that.

Yeah Texas fans aren’t known to be emotional or trash their own field to get an irreversible call reversed just to go on and still get butt stuffed. Probably just go on with your day

In this thread, fans from teams who can’t beat UGA, who haven’t won anything in decades, attempt to shitnon UGA.

Weak. Like your football history. Georgia has already regressed to their norm — pounding their chests and not winning shite. Y’all don’t even realize the Richt years have been back for almost half a decade now. You haven’t noticed because winning 10 games is your comfort zone. You’ve got regional bragging rights and you’re content as Indiana. It’s not your fault, Georgia. Texas, OU, and Alabama quietly understand it’s our responsibility. You’ve been given a job you’re not equipped to handle.

Can you imagine a 12-team playoff 15 years ago? Can you imagine a 24-team playoff? It's coming. If BAMA wasn't there last season, they would have hosted a Playoff game. Big difference most years between hosting and visiting.

During the BCS and even the 4-team Playoff era, the CCG was often a de facto Playoff game in the SEC. For the B1G and SEC that no longer is true. As I mentioned, losing the game can cost more than a bye; they can also lose a home game in the 1st round. Just isn't worth it.

Kirby said he loves the SECCG, but it doesn't make sense anymore.

you’re right that some of that was cope but he does have a point in that it really doesn’t matter much anymore and is probably better to miss out on playing in (see ole miss last year or for the B1G Ohio state the year before) if you’re in one of the P2 and clinched a playoff spot

They don’t understand the joke. You’re gonna have to spell it out for them.

Well this isn’t the Big 12 and Texas and OU aren’t carrying the conference nationally. Both have only won one title since 2000. Georgia has two so they have done more than either Texas or Oklahoma.

The SECCG excuse fell apart pretty quickly when Alabama was summarily curb stomped by Indiana.

Alabama was apparently holding back so that they would be able to score 3 whole points against Indiana.

Texas only has one title in the last 50+ years.

I believe this. It did not look like Alabama was trying to win.

Have fun losing to Alabama, Ole miss, and South carolina. Maybe Kirby will learn from Kiffin and get the court to force a 16 team playoff this season.

God bless Kirby, he has made Florida just give up all hope.
