Agreed. Until LSU can beat Alabama, there’s no reason for this game to be in prime time. The last two meetings haven’t been that competitive and LSU has been shut out in two of the last three meetings.

ND/UGA will also put up some huge numbers for CBS

ND is a relic of a program and it isn't a big deal to play or beat them anymore. ND is like Mickey Mantle stumbling around in the outfield in 1968.

Not trolling, but has their ever been an SEC vs OOC opponent in this slot?

I don't know. I don't think the CBS 8pm time slot has been around for THAT long, like probably not more than about 10 years or so. And generally any big OOC matchup played at an SEC venue would be a lock for the 3:30 game.

I am betting the ND - GA game is ABC prime time game not CBS.

Tell us about the SEC/ABC TV contract.

Louisville. A non-conference game. Just like you guys are playing. Right?

No, we are playing a NBC team in a home game. Y'all played an ACC team at a neutral site. Do you really not see the difference here?

Not really. NBC hasn't even been mentioned as an option for obvious reasons. Sucks to be you guys I guess? It isn't a big deal to play ND in 2019. Maybe in 1988 this would have been a big deal?

Yep - Alabama played @ Florida in a night game in addition to LSU.

Using the word obvious? Thats hilarious coming from someone who seems to have no clue. Obviously, home games in SEC stadiums cannot be on ABC as our TV deal is with CBS and ESPN. Obviously to everyone but you.

Well who owns ABC and ESPN? I mean this wasn't that much of a stretch? Certainly not as much of a stretch as acting like this is some huge game of the century like Georgia fans are trying to make it. It isn't a big deal to play ND unless you are Georgia I guess? Says a lot about your program and scheduling if you think this is a big deal.

Disney owns ABC and ESPN.

Huge stretch because ABC doesnt have a contract with the SEC. If anyone had any doubts about how clueless you are, you have now erased them.

Apparently the CBS thinks this game is huge. Take your issues up with them.

Doesn't CBS usually broadcast primetime MLB games on weekends in September?

The only network that has the MLB is FOX

It baffles me how someone can watch SEC football for years and not understand how the television contracts work.
