Per undisclosed sources. Gonna be weird to see bama/LSU at 3:30, unless CBS makes an expensive deal to have two 8 pm games this year.

LSU/BAMA might be a better game. Georgia has so much speed, now.

The way Bama has owned LSU in recent years, it's been a topic of discussion whether this game is worthy of that time slot anymore.

Thank God.The game has been such a dud lately.

ND/UGA will also put up some huge numbers for CBS

Recent years don't matter, though. I have a feeling it will be a tough hard-fought game.

About time.
Tired of waiting to near midnight to tally another W against LSU.

Regardless of who wins/losses, the NFL talent displayed on the field when these 2 meet is always ridiculous. I'd guess that reason alone has kept this game a primetime game.

Does ND not still have that NBC deal?

Love it. Hated that this game started so late.

I wonder how OOC games are figured into the CBS deal? They might have a clause saying they can have 2 primetime games as long as only one is a conference game.

Prime time game slot sucks. You finish watching the game at midnight, takes well over half of your evening.

Not sure but Athens is going to be a nightmare all week leading up to that game. Gameday will likely be there Saturday morning and then it’s an all day affair for a huge night game with a visiting team that has a bigger sidewalk fan base than Bama. I’m almost as intrigued by how the city and campus handles it as the game itself

they do, which has nothing to do with CBS's deal with SEC home games.

Quick glance at that week and only other games worth a damn are Auburn-A&M, Okie Lite-Texas, Michigan-Wisconsin, and Oregon-Stanford

Hopefully we get some good 3:30 games to pass the time that day

meh..I know it's huge and "once in a lifetime" but it's not like we haven't hosted huge games before. I doubt the logistics behind the day adn the game are much different than any home game against bama, lsu, etc.
