UGA fans don’t realize what mental roller coaster they are about to experience.

Most of them weren’t alive during their 1980 title, or just simply don’t remember it.

This means the 2022 championship was a feeling that was unlike any other for dawg nation.

Be ready to pull your hair out and kick your dogs. The mental stress you will experience now will push you to your limits. Good luck.

Edit: If you need a reference, observe the the LSU fans around here.

I’ll have fun watching the Dawgs this year like I always do, national championship or 6-6. No reason to pull your hair out over some football games, especially when I have less and less of it every day as it is.

It isn't going to be like what happened with LSU because we have a better coach and an easier schedule

but

the withdrawal from that 2021 defense is going to make the message boards look like junkies who have just been cut off - you are right about that.

I agree, losing is much easier to live with.

It’s like Saban has completely wiped your memories of what being a Bama fan was like for the 20 or so years before him… it’s gonna be wildly fun for the rest of us to watch y’all crash back down to Earth.

Lol I am more at peace about football than I have ever been. Could be getting more mature and realizing at the end of the day, 22 20 year olds running around a rectangle with white lines for 3.5 hours really don’t mean too much in the long run.

Or maybes it’s just because 2021 was so sweet.

that's what some of these tards don't realize. The frustration for many of us was going our whole lives without getting one. Now that we have everythign else is gravy. When I was heading out of Indy back in January I said I truly didn't care if we lost to florida and tech every year for the next decade.

Look at Bama as an example. Their last legitimate title was back in 2017. Long time ago!

The next one is never guaranteed.

UGA should be in the hunt as long as Kirby is there and UF and UT are trash. They will have the same hurdle that LSU has, and that is to get over Bama to make it all the way.

That was definitely the leanest time in Alabama football history, yet they still managed to win three conference football championships and a national championship during that period. What you're essentially saying is that not only are Alabama's good times far superior to any other SEC teams' good times, their BAD TIMES are better too!

Pressure is off, monkey remived from back. This year is gravy no matter what.

That said, reloaded from a talent perspective, we are replacing experience but that is mitigated by how much we subbed the young guys.

70% of the Bama fans disappeared from public view in the years after Bryant and before Saban, except for a few years when Stallings was there.

I remember 1980.

And I remember 81 and 82.

That is where we are as a program.
Relevant every year.

If we don't win it, the team who does has to go through us(81 Clemson, 82 Penn St. 2020 Bama, 2019 LSU). That is how football should be played.
