What an arrogant prick

Let simplify it for you. Hiring Bobo was the beginning of the end.
Hiring Bobo in and of itself is not an issue. It is indicative of an ongoing issue with Smart and that is doing the same shite over and over again. Admittedly it has worked very well...again, Smart has earned the right to remain at UGA as long as he chooses...but he has proven over his entire career at UGA to do one thing and one thing only....out recruit everyone else in the nation. Prior to CFB free agency this was the recipe for dynasty type results....Nick Saban proved it and Kirby did it as well as anyone not named Saban. Times have changed. It is unlikely that physically imposing your will on other teams simply by having more talent and depth is going to win natty's going forward...it will be a combination of that AND game planning to mitigate your own weaknesses and take advantage of your opponents. This is not something that the Saban's and Smart's of the world have a lot of experience with...they simply won with superior talent and depth....it was the essence of long term success at a high level. Its more of an NFL approach now....everyone is going to have dudes and depth....and the coaches who win at a high level are going to be adapt at mitigating their teams weaknesses and exploiting their opponents with scheme. Smart may prove to be capable of doing so....nothing in his history would indiacate he is because he has not had to do so.

He was going with Dwan Mathis for goodness sake in 2020 opener. He reluctantly played Bennett and Bennett just took the job in spite of Smarts reservations.
This is a solid fact. There could be doctoral theses written about Kirby Smart and QB issues. It dates back to Fromm, who regressed in the same way Beck has done. Stetson Bennett was NEVER the staff's choice - nor the fanbase's if we are being honest. UGA has a QB room stocked to the ceiling with potential. Unless one of them is able to overcome whatever crippling effect Smart and company have on QB talent like Stetson Bennett did they will likely not realize their full potential.
Again, not calling for a coaching change - no even a change in OC - Kirby Smart has earned the right to call the shots and to do so as long as he wants to...but its a new era in CFB and simply out talenting everybody is going to be infinitely harder to do...its going to take that and some coaching....Smart may be up to the task but nothing in his career indicates he is able to do more than simply out talenting everyone on the schedule the same way Nick Saban did for years.

I mean let’s evaluate UGA.
FEI Offense (pre-OM): 13th
FEI Defense (pre-OM): 5th
Beck: 61%, 17/12, 140 rtg
To put that 140 in context he’s behind Peyton Thorne and is 9th in the SEC.
Etienne? 477, 5YPC, 7TD
They have very little in the way of downfield weapons. I don’t think any of their WR/TE group would start for their previous teams of last decade.
The reality is this is a very good, but by no means great UGA team right now.
But make no mistake, TN isn’t perfect either.
TN FEI Offense (last week): 35
TN FEI Defense: (last week) 3
They look like a less talented version of Bama circa 2008. The defense is incredibly deep at the LOS, but the offense just tries to bludgeon teams to death with the run attack because Nico is still very inconsistent as a passer.
Speaking of Nico, if I were to tell you he was identical to Peyton Thorne would that surprise you? He has virtually the same rtg, yards, YPA and TDs. Yet Thorne is the problem at AU and Nico is the savior at TN? Maybe eventually but not yet.
At home TN is a lot to deal with.
At Sanford this is a very winnable, but certainly not easy game for UGA.

What you say is true. I can acknowledge this without being mad about it. He brought 2 championships back to Athens and that was all us long time 50+ year old fans asked for. Mission accomplished. Can he re-make his style and process moving forward? Does he even want to? If he sticks around another decade he would likely have a few of opportunities to win championships but the days of overwhelming opponents with talent and depth are a thing of the past.

Culture issues in Athens. It’s been pretty obvious for people that follow the Georgia crime spree.

When your offense is as bad as Georgia's is, the fans should be worried about every game. If that same team who embarrassed themselves in Oxford shows up again this week, they'll get embarrassed again. This is not a good team.

Tennessee is similar to Ole Miss in the front 7. Not quite as good but very similar so UGA could run into similar problems. Not sure UT has the passing game to exploit UGA like Ole Miss did however, especially without Nico.

You have to score to win games.
UGA's offense isn't working right now. Forget Tennessee. I'm worried about Georgia Tech.

UGA will stuff that Micky Mouse offense with Nico banged up. Beck will play lights out at home with their season on the line. Dogs by a lot.

You have homefield advantage and Tennessee 's RB is good for one fumble a game.
Sampson is not good for "one fumble a game". Nico is more likely to give up the ball on a fumble. Here are the SEC leaders in fumbles so far this season (their national rank per teamrankings.com):
1. LaNorris Sellers - USCe - 9
3. Jackson Arnold - OU - 8
6. Taylen Green - Arkansas - 7
6. Brock Vandagriff - UK - 7
10. Michael Van Buren - Miss St. - 6
20. Diego Pavia - Vandy - 5
20. Nico Iameleava - UT - 5
34. Blake Shapen - Miss St. - 4
34. Blake Milroe - Bama - 4
34. Johnnie Daniels - Miss St. - 4
34. Carson Beck - UGA - 4
70. Malachi Singleton - Arkansas - 3
70. Taylor Tatum - OU - 3
70. Dylan Sampson - UT - 3
