UGA 2022 receiver/tight end room will be stacked

Wide Receivers:
Arik Gilbert
Jermaine Burton
George Pickens (Likely going to the draft but hasn't declared yet)
Dominick Blaylock
Adonai Mitchell
Ladd McConkey
Kearis Jackson
Arian Smith
Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint
Tight Ends:
Brock Bowers
Darnell Washington
John Fitzpatrick
Hopefully Monken takes full advantage of these guys (and our O line blocks worth a damn). It will be a fun season offensively for UGA as long as we put the best QB in, I'd love to see us start developing BVG.

Dude. Aril Gilbert might as well be Jimmy Hoffa at this point. You may never know the truth. Just gotta accept that he’s gone.

Wait until all of these guys decide what their plans are.

Is Arik gone?
Such a strange story but I hope he gets his issues resolved.
What team from the East do you think is most likely to challenge Ga next year?

That was the one question I had when I saw this. Is Gilbert definitely playing next year?

Might hit the portal

Dude is probably done at UGA whether by transfer or NFL

Pickens would be wise to Nil up and take another year in college to get his speed and stamina back.
He is a first rounder next year, a risk this year.
Gilbert is done

Latest I saw from Kirby a month ago or so was that he’s still not with the team. So I guess there’s a chance but it’s slim. I ain’t holding my breath.

General consensus is that several of those names might end up in the portal
Still will have tons of talent to catch passes, but wouldn't be shocked to see Burton, Washington, and Jackson hit the road.

That is easy for us to say, but he already had an injury that cost him most of this year so I would not blame him if he went to the NFL.
I can see why it might be 50/50 for him.

I’d be shocked if Pickens didn’t go to the draft.

If I were LSU I'd try to pull some of our receivers mentioned for the rebuild. aTm can frick off though with their boosters and shite

Winning the natty actually helps take away the sting that is never really getting to see Pickens dominate more than a couple games in college. I love that kid.

Pickens won't get drafted in a round that means a damn, financially, because of the injury.
It wouldn't hurt him at all to come back and ball out for one last season. The NIL deals he can sit on for the year would be fairly similar to the deal he would get from the later rounds of the draft.
Now he can stack money in college, improve his stock, and then potentially get that 1st/2nd round money.

Is consulting with agents allowed now?
I hope he is getting sound advice either way.

Heard he might roll with the good guys.

Idk about that. I’ve seen mocks with him going round 1. His major knock has been character concerns and the fact he came back and played when he could’ve just sat probably helps alleviate some of those concerns.

If he came back and had a great year he would make a lot of money in next year's draft.
If you aren't first round or high second round, another productive year really pays off, imo.
I believe next Monday is last day to declare, if I heard it correctly.
