Ok, you win on the behalf of the entire fan base I apologize for the chant that has your jimmy rustled.....(even though I wasn't an active participant in said event) I would also like to see the the 100,000+ that allegedly chanting this. I am highly suspect that 100,000+ People were chanting this....

Ok Matlock you got me. I have no idea the exact number of people yelling F*ck you Florida. But I do know it was quite a few.
Did you not hear it?
Are you denying it happened?

Yep, and even if someone produces video of the girl saying "frick me now," some people will always believe he did it.

Not that he didn't do it, but the logic doesn't fly with me, not in this situation. Dude was the big hero of the moment. It makes no sense that he felt he had to force himself on someone.

It happened. I was there. I heard it. It was coming from the student section.

There's no excuse for it. It was trashy and reflects poorly on our fanbase. Everyone makes fun of Alabama for their "85%" but we're pretty close to that number.

Rape usually doesn't for someone who is an athlete given how much pussy is thrown at those guys. Doesn't mean it doesn't happen, but on the flipside it tends to make for some false accusations too.

There is an epidemic hitting college campuses with regards to these sexual assault/rape cases. At this point, you may as well carry around contracts and voice recorders confirming consent because sleeping with any girl could lead to her friends convincing her to cry rape the next morning.

Why would a rape kit be out of the question? If it was reported the next day, it seems that there would still be some signs

Not to mention that it detracts from legitimate cases. The false reporters are scum -- not to the extent people who force themselves on women are, but scum nonetheless. People's lives can be ruined irrevocably based on bullshite.

I'm not willing to throw the girl under the bus yet. Let GPD investigate and come to a conclusion. GPD arrests our players for barking at dogs... if there's any truth to this they will probably shoot the kid in the back while they are handcuffing him.

I was under the assumption it wasn't reported until this morning.

I can't remember if it's 48 hours or 72 before it's pretty much useless to do one. And some rape victims will flat out deny them.

On the other hand, we're at the historical peak for attention on athlete sexual or physical abuse of women, so this coming out as this guy became a national name is dubious.

I disagree. I feel the entitlement attitude of these college athletes could easily extend to their sex lives. And just as everyone on here thinks they can pick up a random cleat chaser at the drop of a hat, I think some athletes are inclined to think that more women are cleat chasers than actually are.

A rape kit was used in the Winston case and his DNA was found. As a Florida fan the only positive I get out of this is unlike FSU who trotted Winston out there as the face of their team we actually suspended our player.

I was also at the Tennessee game and that may have been the rudest bunch of fans I have ever met. I was about 8 seats in from the Tunnel as Florida exited the field and the things said and the mass amount of crap thrown was ridiculous. Stay classy Tennessee.

If people get offended when this and Muschamp's retort happens, we won't ever hear a golden line like 'You can't spell citrus without UT'. The chant and Muschamp's quote after wasn't a big deal. Too much overreaction on both sides.
