Vols v Gators rivalry died over 12 years ago. It was a thing because of Spurrier-Fuller and Wuerffel-Manning. Both programs were at the top of their game.

Please tell us more about college football rivalries Mr LSU fan...

Florida is ahead by 9 games in the rivalry...they have won 10 times since Tennessee fired Fulmer as HC. Coincidence?

Tennessee is an abysmal team on both sides of the ball. It doesn’t take a good defense to hold them down.

Neyland will be at 25% capacity on Saturday. They aren't limiting ticket sales...but PBS is having a "Reconstruction: America After the Civil War" marathon that starts at 3:00...and it is a little less painful to watch that attempted rebuilding than sit in the stands and watch what Pruitt is putting on the field. UT can't compete with something like that, right?

FIFY...Manning and Wuerffel only faced each other in '95 and '96.
Heath Shuler started for UT when Wuerffel and Florida won by 10 in '93 (Manning was still in High School)
Todd Helton Started for UT when Wuerffel and Florida won by 31 (Manning was a Freshman listed as 3rd string at the time, and didn't start for until the Mississippi State Game)

Just let me know if BVD on youtube makes a funny meltdown video afterwards.

Georgia is a blue state now, they don't care about football anymore.
Georgia is a big liberal soccer state now, didn't you hear
the news. They won some soccer championship and the Atlanta soccer team is out selling the Falcons. UG will probably add men's soccer in the next couple years and play with the ACC boys.

This will be the game that brings Fulmer back to the field.

I haven't watched much of Tennessee this year, but how does you offense not stay on the field when you have an RB that went for 173?
I dont know what to tell you, we just suck
It seems like every long sustained drive we have ends up with a turnover or missed field goal

Don't forget those 100 yard interception returns for touchdowns.

I remember that 31-0 beatdown in Neyland back in '94.

How cold will it be in Knoxville?

Gitmo isn't playing Saturday due to contact with another player that tested + is the report I read.
I will believe it when I see it. Pruitt would play JG even if the guy had one arm dangling off. If there's a way to start JG then Pruitt will find it despite the fact that JG has thrown our opponents more TDs than his teammates.

I thought Tennessee was more susceptible to the run and better against the pass with the 2 good corners?
Here's the thing, the disaster on offense has caused people to overlook the disaster on defense. Last season, we had a solid defense (finished in the top 25 nationally) and promising young secondary. We should've been pretty damn good this year on defense, particularly against the passing game but that has not happened. Defense has regressed. The entire team is bad. This is why Pruitt needs to go. New coordinators/assistants aren't going to fix him.

This really drives home why the Tennessee streak pissed me off even more than the Florida streak before we ended both. Sure, the Florida streak was ridiculous but theyve actually been good that whole time. Tennessee has been uncompetitive shyte for awhile. It was totally inexcusable.
It shouldn't have. Florida was equally as bad until recently. That's why it's amazing they built such a streak.

Well considering that East, TN didn't really have to go through Reconstruction so much as we got to administer it. It's always fun to learn about the complaints from Down South.

why have we not had an updated depth chart in 2-3 weeks?
