UF and UToof Football "Rivalry" - this year's match up is a special year

This weekend's beatdown of the vols is a special year for both schools.
This will be the 50th time the two schools have played.
and what's the series record you ask...
UF 29 wins (soon to be an even 30)
UT 20 wins
But Vols, you have the history here for sure. You won the first 10 meetings from 1910-1953. So we spotted you 10 and now we will be up 10 despite not playing every year until 1992 so there's that.
For your trouble:
Grier to Calloway: Calloway was triple-teamed.
Franks to Cleveland:

That Calloway game was nuts, maybe the most on edge I've ever been. I never feel down an out against UT, always wait on them to screw up somehow, but I thought we were dead in the water before that. 4th and 14 - why the frick was that LB spying Grier rather than blitzing?
Then Dobbs drove them down for a FG att right after that.

Gonna be hilarious when the Vols pull a win out of their arse against UF and it saves Pruitt's job.

Knew Tennessee QB Jarrett Guarantano had struggled against #Gators. But not to this extent.
19-of-35 passing (54.3%)
271 yards
0 TDs, 4 INTs, fumble

Gitmo isn't playing Saturday due to contact with another player that tested + is the report I read.

Florida will break some kind of record this weekend. My best guess is Trask will break the single game passing TD record.
I hate Florida but we all know what’s going to happen. Unless Harrison Bailey is literally the second coming of Jesus, we won’t cover the spread

I thought Tennessee was more susceptible to the run and better against the pass with the 2 good corners?

Georgia is a blue state now, they don't care about football anymore.

It would be stupid for UF to take this game for granted, 1/3 of their losses were self inflicted. That said, a lot of Vol fans would hate anything that helped Pruit keep his job.

This really drives home why the Tennessee streak pissed me off even more than the Florida streak before we ended both. Sure, the Florida streak was ridiculous but theyve actually been good that whole time. Tennessee has been uncompetitive shyte for awhile. It was totally inexcusable.

1) We are susceptible to everything. Our defense is solid but lacks any quality depth. Our offense never stays on the field long enough to give our defense a breather. In the 2nd half, they are too gassed to stop anything. We also lost our biggest pass rusher to a gun/drug arrest this week.
2) it’s Florida, we will find a unique way to lose. We always do

Well we had some struggles against Vandy, had some struggles against Kentucky, so I fully expect to have some struggles against Tennessee. It will all once again be on Trask' shoulders to win the game just like every other game.
It is pretty remarkable.
Kentucky seemed to give our OL some problems so we will see if we get that fixed. The D played better in the 2nd half, so we will see if that continues.

I haven't watched much of Tennessee this year, but how does you offense not stay on the field when you have an RB that went for 173?

This we can agree on.

Jesus didn’t die on the cross so that dipshit could play quarterback for us

Safeties are awful this year. Our nickel left the team due to grades and his replacements have been awful. Alonte Taylor, one of the starting DBs, has been bad and/or injured all year. Plus no pass rush. To top it off some of the worst pass coverage from any linebacking unit I’ve ever seen.
Bryce Thompson is still good.

Good thing we don’t pass on every down then.

Kyle Pitts will break whatever records he’s set so far this game.

If Gators don’t win this game by 42+ I would be shocked. Something like 55-10.

Our defense has a good half against a decimated UK team and now they are all of a sudden good at football?
