Is it true that the gator football team is using a new workout program. Designed by a high school basketball coach in Louisiana. From what I was told no weights all tires. It is supposed too make you more athletic. Heavy tires to me are weights, just not made of iron. Is there anyone out there that can shed some light on the new gator workout program.

The problem with the Gators is that like the VOLOLLOLS, they just aren't very good.

They just got an upgraded weight room. The team collectively increased their maxes in the 4 main lifts by nearly 14,000 pounds over the offseason.
Rusty Whitt is a decent follow on social media and posts workout videos of the team (he is the S+C coach).

If tweet fails to load, click here. Perhaps they’re incorporating part of the regimen but they are definitely using weights.

Don’t pay to dispose of old tires, just donate them to Florida.

Power clean used to be a very important one.

Okay. Prob still is in Football based workout programs. Do not see it at the gym often but that is just regular people working out, not athletes. Makes sense.

Kirby Smart is copying the OKC Thunder so anything is possible.

Yes. I used to hunt ducks with his best friend. He joined us one morning when we traveled up to Colorado to do some freelancing. He was in Co Springs doing some training when he was a green beret at the time.
He's on the left. 20 yrs ago this October.
