Auburn should have never fired Malzahn. Big time mistake. They won't ever do better than Malzahn and Freeze is a dead man walking and won't be there after next year either. Heck, there's a chance he gets fired this year.

This is a Bryan Harsin roster.

Mama said that Auburn fans are so ornery because they have all them WRs and no quarterback to throw them the ball

Correct. Harsin actually beat a team ranked in the top 25 while Auburn’s head coach. Freeze has not managed that.

I’m glad Auburn has Freeze.

I mean since he began coaching, he has one Championship - in 2011 with Arkansas State - in the Sun Belt.

Since then, his on-field record is absolutely atrocious.

youre both correct. but auburn has that 'rabbit out of a hat' factor that makes it easier to hate them.

He’s about to be fired from UCF as well. Malzahn was done at Auburn and may be done with being head coach at a decent sized program

Auburn needs to snag the Wyoming coach. He could be another Pat Dye

Why not the Boise State HC? Aubbie has a fast track on stealing their guys.

auburn manages to snag high classes but they rarely pan out or stay on campus. auburn, hands down, has the lowest return on investment of any school I ever seen in coaches and recruiting. I have always believe karma has a permanent vengeance against them for very good reason.

Freeze gave us 4th and 25 AND 4th and 31.

He's an SEC icon.

Auburn hires coaches that reflect who they are as a school and a fanbase.

Totally different trajectories. One is trending up while another would probably not win another game.

always wonder either a) What Harisin did or say to lead people to think they could get him to admit having an affair or b) What Harsin must have done or who he pissed off if they just made it up out of think air.

Most likely story:
A) he was an arrogant guy who rubbed a lot of people the wrong way
B) he didn’t win enough
C) they decided he had to be fired
D) they didn’t want to pay the buyout so they decided to blackmail him with the affair story they couldn’t prove but that would embarrass him
E) he wasn’t having it because it wasn’t true or he didn’t care compared to the buyout
F) they drop the story, he doesn’t blink
G) they don’t know what to do at that point so he just stops recruiting to force them to buy him out

I do wonder what would’ve happened had he won the iron bowl. Do they then have to keep him? The cringe / awkward factor would’ve been off the charts.

No way auburn the last 4 years would have had a worse record if they had just keep Gus so they just burned $40 million dollars

Hmmmm, I’ll play. Let’s see here. Oh I know! One of the coaches isn’t known for corrupting minors with whores and lacking any respect whatsoever for his family all while blabbering on and on about God? Is that what you were alluding to?
