No doubt in the next 2 or 3 years the SEC will be looking to add the final two teams to the conference. There's still lots of the huge Texas/Oklahoma market to be had as well as the hole in the east that South Carolina and Georgia don't fill.

Texas isn't going to be the chosen one in the west so they're out. Who would be the next in line? Oklahoma? Okie State?

In the east, South Carolina would do everything to block Clemson so the most likely candidates would be Virginia Tech? North Carolina?

Gonna be exciting times in the SEC's future.

Been discussed 10,000 times. In the end the only schools the SEC will go after are in NC and VA and that won't happen until the ACC breaks up or the Big 1G tries to make a move on UNC/UVA. Until either of those things happen though it's just a non starter.

I know. Just couldn't think of anything better to counter the 10,000 saban threads.

I'm a failure....

Slive doesnt want our dickstick little brother in Austin. He has the whole state by way of The Texas Aggies. SEC is going to move north east. we start the veto process if it includes the sippers or sooners.

I would personally like to see 2 of the following: FSU, Clemson or Georgia Tech. They make sense location wise and are good programs that could bring something to the SEC.

Realistically, they want to expand the current market which means going into Virginia, North Carolina or possibly trying get a south Florida team.

NC State and Va Tech ... but it's been discussed ad nauseam. Better suited for the offseason ... and even then, no.

UNC/NCSU and UVA/VT

It will happen eventually.

When is the question. My guess is whenever the Maryland exit fee is finalized ( and how much they pay to the ACC) will decide whether schools bolt or stay in the ACC

What makes sense to us as fans does not exactly make sense to the power folks. An addition would be driven by large media markets would be my guess.

So naturally - north and east would make sense. I think OU said they were not going anywhere without OK st.

That was supposedly the same idea that was generated about A&M and the Tea sips until the Aggies told the Tea- sipds to fook off. Which not to get off subject - and I dont take up for aggies often or ever - but I still love how that happened. They put thier little aggie nuts out there and showed UT that they would do what they said they would do - and you have to say it has worked out well for them and the SEC.

Move Mizzou over to the West. UNC and WVU in the East.

UNC / Duke

If the ACC falls apart, there is no basketball conference for Duke to cling to. Would make us exponentially better in basketball and academics while expanding the Northeastern TV market.
