2. Laugh if you want, but I had to do things differently. played Div II basketball for a year in the midwest (the university I attended did not have a football program). My father grew ill so I came home to Austin and attended school at UT for 1 year until my father passed. after he passed on, I had to find a way to get through school. that way was the Marine Corps. I feel no allegiance to San Diego State. I went to school there purely out of convenience. I was stationed at Miramar.

I think damned liar may be a bit harsh, maybe bored out of my fricking mind in a new city, working the most fricked up schedule in the history of employment, and needing to find a hobby more suited to my surroundings would be more appropriate. but damned liar? that was all in good fun previously. I honestly assumed (incorrectly) that the Aggies over here were better adjusted to life outside of texags and could take a fricking joke.

you are right. apparently college football history starts in 2010 right after Texas lost a national championship. you are right, the last 3 years have been fricking awful. hopefully strong puts us back where we belong. sumlin already has the ads where they belong, 8-4 finishes. hopefully he can best that for years to come. a strong Texas and strong Texas A & M are good for football.
as to posting on the rant, I have no need to have my point of view validated by posting with alumni/fans of the same school I attended (did not finish at ut, I finished at sandiego state while in the marine corps)
