Johnson continues to be unavailable...authorities don't know where he is nor where his gun is. This doesn't bode well for Johnson claiming self defense, especially when he can't/won't produce the gun. The gun could have been used previously in another crime...perhaps even a homicide. No one knows, because Johnson apparently is in hiding, and the gun probably disposed of.

Johnson and Davis couldn’t have just killed eachother?
Has Johnson put out a single statement since this happened? Did the family of the victim ever mention him? Something is definitely a little weird

Yeah. There is no video in that article. The author gives his opinion at times but there’s nothing there that’s new or should make anyone think that the police have the wrong shooter locked up.

But ESPN and the NY Times also weren't able to release video.
I tweeted at the author on Twitter to ask if it was possible that Johnson saw Davis in his driver's side mirror approaching with gun in hand and got a "like" but no response.
I think a lot of people would have new opinions if we could actually see the video ourselves but I wouldn't hold my breath on that. It'll all come out at trial.
The more that comes out I really have trouble seeing how either side claims self defense but Johnson was parked and in his vehicle when Davis approached him. Whether that matters with the cat and mouse shite prior to that point is another matter and that's why I posted the article in the OP to give context. It's really going to come down to the jury, the judge and the persuasiveness of the case made by both sides. I think it's very unlikely capital murder is going to stick. It's going to be a lesser charge.

We'll never know but it's quite possible that Johnson and his pal in the other car were about to take out Davis before Davis called their bluff and brought things to a head.
The defense may try to make that case to explain why Davis engaged out of fear based on Johnson's stalking him.
Also factor in Davis admitted he was bombed outta his mind on Tito's and couldn't even remember what happened so arguing his state of mind is gonna be fun for the defense.

Brandon Miller is a worthless thug wanna be that doesn't deserve to breathe the same air as the rest of us.
He brought a loaded gun to a friend whom told he need said gun to use against another person I the commission of a crime. If he didn't bring his friend the gun, Jamea would still be alive.
There's no getting it twisted. Miller is one of the main reasons she is dead.
