Michigan had a lot of good looks at the bed and couldn’t buy a basket. Got to hand t to UCLA though. They made it to four.

UCLA is pretty good. So was Bama. It wouldn't have mattered after the next game though. Either team would lose and it wont matter in the end. Baylor and Zaga both are on another level.

They were much better than they got credit for. I think a couple players were out with covid and their schedule was a mess with even some games being cancelled. Honestly, I thought an 11 seed was an eyebrow raiser when the tourney started. They should have been a 5 or 6ish all along.

Yeh, they aren't very good at logic...lol
It sucks that our shitty arse free throw shooting cost us the game. Post play was our weakness this year so I think Michigan would have eaten us alive if we had beaten UCLA. The post should be a strength for us next year though.

Not gonna lie. Makes me feel a little bit better that UCLA advanced. A couple of free throws here and there--oh what might have been.
Bama was able to "win ugly" during the regular season and over Iona. The deeper you go in the tourney, the harder it is to "win ugly."
Bama is/was not a complete team. But they are the SEC regular season and tourney champions. More than I expected from the jump.
