Tulane is definitely the best team in their state. So at least there’s that.

But they are in a shitty conference!!!!! Notre Dame should join their conference so they can keep on playing nobodies and maybe make the playoffs!

Worthless unless you have the 12 best teams.

Wait until JMU vs Oregon.
The best 5 conference champ auto-bids needs to die.
Rank them and play them in the order they are ranked.
I'd also prefer a revamping of the ranking methodology and greater transparency, but that is another matter.

He wouldn't, he's an LSU fan.
And so weird people keep arbitrarily bringing up ND. The teams that got screwed were BYU, UT, and Vandy...in that order. After that log jam it should have been ND.

As Ive said before....We should all accept the College Football Playoff Selection Committee's choices with blind faith. A group of athletic directors, former coaches, and media members know whats best for us !

ND played two decent teams. Lost to both of them.
Maybe they should play 3 or 4 decent teams and we'd find out if the committee would put them is with 4 losses and a stronger schedule?
They need to try something. Maybe they should only play div 2 or div 3 teams. Might go undefeated, until their 1st playoff game.

They didn't have to be ahead of ND. They had to be ahead of Duke. And they were.

Our FG kicker shite the bed and missed an extra point against A&M....there went our playoffs hopes....but I do agree that adding Tulane and JMU over ND and Texas or BYU or Vanderbilt is a joke.

Hate to say it but these small conference teams will only have like another season to prove they belong with the big boys.IF JMU gets blown out tonight this experiment maybe over.

Notre dame had their chance and lost to a team that lost in the first round should tulane and north texas just shut down their football programs because they are obviously not able to compete? Was notre dame losing 42 to 14 against Alabama that much more entertaining?

Tulane and JMU wouldnt be favorites against any of the teams they left out and that is fact. Its suppose to be the best 12 teams....not a feel good story for smaller programs who dont have a chance.
