Sounds like he's pulling a Blake Barnett.
Since it's been less than 4 games, he can redshirt the season and still be eligible for next season as long as he can find a place to keep his credits up for the year.

I don't get inventing points but I think you've got to at least admit the pick 6 changed the entire game. No telling how that plays out without the pick 6. Hell, maybe in that alternate reality UGA wins by a huge margin because they stay more aggressive on offense. Who knows...
