Yeah, Charlotte has been ruined by the progressive banks and the far left city goverment.

The tranny Panthers cheerleader was the last stick in our eye.

The city will be another Detroit or Chicago by the end of this decade.

Hell, you go up toward Lake Norman and you might as well be in fricking Schaumburg or Novi.

It’s an awful place.

Charlotte used to be an awesome city. Clean, safe and full of young professionals. I harken it to what Atlanta was in the 80’s and 90’s …growing and alive and fun.

COVID and the move to WFH killed the city. The last time I was there downtown was a ghost town. Restaurants and different fun spots went under and haven’t reopened. We had a happy hour at a bar/bowling venue for a company function downtown and it was empty at 6pm on a Thurs. in the past it would’ve been jammed.

It’s really sad what happened.

The sidewalks double as a bathroom, and there’s never a line to use it.

I lived there a couple years ago and was not impressed. Lots of crime.

Aside from the dumpy decaying buildings, lack of opportunity, and dwindling population of sad aimless people slowly killing themselves with drugs and alcohol to shorten their time on this Earth as their only way out of their aimless pointless lives of quiet desperation?
Is that what's going on in that picture?

Whats going on in this?

I wasn't still talking about the Charlotte area. I responded to a post about VA vs NC and merely posted about a place in western NC that I appreciate.

Work From Home

All of the young people that filled the offices aren’t there anymore. The Epicenter that was a 3 level outdoor mall of bars and restaurants attached to the Hornets arena went bankrupt. Now it’s a homeless camp.
