The hearing for his lawsuit is next week. He'll know shortly either way

Local judge won’t have jurisdiction. I’ll bet a 6 month suspension he never plays another down for Ole Miss.

Who is advising this kid to return to school? His stock will never be higher. Surely someone with common sense is telling him to go pro.

NCAA filed their initial response to the Mississippi Court on Monday this week and they did not challenge jurisdiction in that initial response. I believe that means they've waived their ability to challenge by not doing so in their initial response.

He goes to court next week in Chancery court in Oxford. Anyone think the Judge is going to rule against him? The guy would have to move out of state.

Likely won’t suit up?
Does this pretty mean definitively exactly that?

The main lawyer that usually represents these players tweeted today that Chambliss will be taking a huge risk by relying on that injunction from the Ole Miss judge. There will be plenty of time left to get the injunction overturned, then he won't be eligible for NCAA or NFL draft.

Not surprising. He’ll get his TRO.
I thought the denial was old news anyway. How do these idiots keep making money at pretend journalism. I get my news on these boards. Faster and usually more reliable.

Would have won the Heisman next season. Good luck in the nfl.

No. Heitner
I am sure Mars will go ahead and go through with it. Heitner is saying it is a huge risk to count on that injunction not getting overturned before the season.
Heitner represents these athletes but also shoots them straight. Which is why he advised Demond to go back to Washington because he had signed a contract that had him by the balls

He is your coach and you dippys can’t even spell his name. Get a real education. The NCAA does Ole Miss no favors. The courts will clip what is left of their balls.

He’s not wrong, but some of that risk is mitigated by venue. The docket may simply be “too crowded” to see the case before 2027 in Oxford, MS.
