That you can find any anonymous source to say basically anything.

This is all great message board fodder, but you gotta realize that most of the “staffers” are likely the Assistant Deputy Equipment Communication GA. If there were names attached, none of us would likely even know who our own guy was

Delpit was right up there with Jamal Adams as a sophomore and very good as a junior considering the injuries. If he drops to the second round he will be a steal. This is a decade long starter.

Bowden would look great as that Saints-like jack of all trades weapon. The kid is a winner.

Jefferson imho will lead this class in total catches. He's ready. A very slippery dude with tremendous hands. He could be the perfect number two guy, paired with a burner. Nobody is better across the middle.

Everybody knows about Clyde. What can you say, just put the tape in.

Derrick Brown falling to 9 or 10 is a joke. He's a bad man.

Jeudy and Ruggs.. I'd prefer Jeudy by a mile of those two. I'm not as sold on Ruggs as a lot of you guys. Jeudy is so slippery and that patented slant was virtually unstoppable.

CJ Henderson and Fulton are definitely late first round guys. I think Fulton is NFL-ready but Henderson has the better upside.

Don't sleep on Chiasson. Put on a game tape and note that he is always in the middle of the mayhem. He's the whole package.

Waddle is that guy who freaks everybody out in training camp. His return game makes him way more valuable than his WR numbers.

Kyle Pitts was the best Gator on the field against LSU. He's tough to stop.

Kylin Hill should have a good NFL career. He's consistent.

Van Jefferson is way better than his numbers. I see him as that prototypical slot guy.

I hope Tua plays for 12 years. I really do. But count me in the camp that thinks he is damaged goods. He's just not as mobile as he thinks he is, and I just don't see him having the discipline to learn to dump the ball and avoid the contact. If you have the luxury of letting him sit for a year, take a flyer, but moving up and losing draft picks for him seems crazy.

Auburn defensive lineman Derrick Brown (nine votes)

All but two of the 11 SEC staffers who took part in this poll put in a vote for Brown, a 6-foot-5, 325-pound first-team All-American who will likely be a top-10 draft pick. “Best player in America that I saw in person and on tape,” one defensive staffer said. Brown, who may have gone in the first round of the 2019 NFL draft had he turned pro, tallied 55 tackles, 12.5 tackles for a loss and four sacks as a senior for Auburn last season. “You panicked every time you had him singled up in protection, just wondering if your guy was going to be able to hold up,” a director of player personnel said. “Kevin Steele did a really good job getting him mismatched on your worst offensive lineman. Kevin also did a really good job of when the other team had him matched up or whatever, he would bring pressure away from him and cause the offense to slide protection away from Derrick that left him singled up and gave him the best matchup. I thought that was schematically really smart and something inside the game that people don’t see a lot of times.”

Best player in the draft, IMO.

It’s kind of like NBA 2K. Ruggs and Jeudy have like four badges at a Hall of Fame level, but Waddle’s got like 60 badges and he can beat you in so many different ways. He can do so many things that he’s a problem.”

I really, REALLY want to know which coach made an NBA 2k analogy.

There's lots of talk now that some teams rate C.J. Henderson higher due to his athleticism.

4.43 and near 38" vertical is pretty damn athletic

but Jeudy is an elite route runner and Jefferson is not.

Yeah this analysis is way off, dude is a pretty good route runner, why he got moved to the slot in the first place.

Sounds like they got this opinion BEFORE the combine since he got to the combine and he ran a 4.43, had a 37.5" vertical and had a 126" broad jump which all 3 were better than Jerry Jeudy who is absolutely going to get drafted well ahead of him

Yep

He's so fluid and runs such great routes people thought he just wasn't that fast I guess. Doesn't look like he's really explosive, but turns out he's got top tier WR athleticism in this draft.

Jefferson's entire upside prior to the combine was that he's a great route runner .

Dude is an EXCELLENT route runner. What are you watching?

Excellent, not elite. Jeudy will come in and immediately be a top 5 route runner in the NFL

Do you realize how many good route runners there are in the NFL? Go watch Davante Adams and Adam Thielen or Jarvis Landry or Amari Cooper run routes against NFL DBs.

Do you realize how much experience at that level helps you become that?

Nobody comes into the NFL as an immediate top 5 route runner against that competition. It takes time. Man, what a great take

Can’t understand why he wasn’t better at Texas A&M. Maybe (because of) Kellen Mond?

That and he dropped 4 out of every 10 catchable passes that came his way.

Ausbon caught 73% of all passes thrown his way. Davis caught 58%. Ausbon is 1" taller than Davis.

Willie Gay will be great for fans of teams that don’t like their QB.

A lot of Saints fans would probably like him since they’ve turned on Brees.

Joe Burrow had this to say about D.Brown when asked how it seemed he was just bumped by Brown & ended up on his back: " Getting bumped by Brown is like being bumped by a tank. He's a freak"

Brown is a stud and I'm just amazed at his loyalty to Auburn. Funny how so many at Auburn seem to stick around four year$ while so many juniors at Bama,LSU and UGA always seem to jump ship asap.

Such a special place I suppose
