I would agree with most of the rankings, but where they have shaded the left side of GA as being GT faithful isn't even slightly true. If anything, that area would be Auburn.

In all reality Iowa- Iowa State is a pretty heated rivalry that should be several spots higher than #50. Damn sure over Cincinnati vs Miami fricking Ohio.

Oh, and Antwaan Randle-El definitely played for Indiana, not Iowa State. Seneca Wallace is the name you're looking for, buddy. If you are good to try to be a shitty writer, at least TRY to make an attempt to so some type of research on your facts.

Egg Bowl should be way higher. It is as intense as any football rivalry, and more so than most. Just stating a fact

actually one of my favorite rivalry games to watch each year if Florida-Georgia. Pure hatred on both sides/ugly. It's great

It's really funny to read through WLOCP game threads on other teams boards the next day. It's a bunch of "oh the horror" posts that are just downright entertaining

True that the egg bowl is intense, but I think the ranking is pretty fair because the game hasn't been played with nearly as high of stakes as most of the other games ahead of them. I could see that game at 20, but definitely not higher than that.

I don't think this word means what you think it means .

You have zero way of measuring how intense the rivalries of others are.
Absolutely, the Egg Bowl is huge to you--it should be.
But I'd bet fans of Michigan, Ohio State, UTex, Oklahoma, and many others would have opinions different than yours.
To each his own.
I've found most rivalries to be pretty great.

Lol Yes, I know what it means. Rivalries are great, but I measure them on pure hatred of opposing fan bases, not on a scale that is made up by the media. You are foolish to assume that I've never been to another football rivalry game. I have been to several and OM/State, and Clemson/ SC are at the top of my list. Absolute ugliness and pure disdain.

As opposed to the merry, Kumbaya love-fest rivalries, you mean?

I didn't say you've never been to any other rivalry game.
But even if you've been to every single rivalry game that's ever played, going as a non-interested bystander, rather than as a graduate of the actual school is a completely different deal.

I'm not criticizing you, just saying there's no way you (nor I) can ever accurately measure the intensity of a rivalry.

Any list with Iron Bowl not at #1 is a joke.

Why? Nobody outside of the south gives 2 shits about that game

I agree with their #1

What's so surprising? It's arguably Georgia's third biggest rivalry game, and it's at best, a distant second for Auburn.

TCU vs Baylor is way underrated.
Those games may actually draw 25,000 people.

I thought it beat a lot of the other threads we have around here. Interesting.

If you gave some of these guys on here $1,000,000.00 they would complain you put them in a higher tax bracket.

I don't think it's the greatest rivalry , I think their respective fanbases are more obsessed with each other than any other rivalry. I think ESPN has done its best making it the best. Andaybe most of the SEC believes it is, but until recently I din ghoul most of the country cared that much about it.

It's not the most played , for either school . It's not really that close w-l ratio. I do think it's the most hyped by ESPN though.
