And that's the glory of college football. The next superstars are on deck. Just 2 seasons ago BAMA fans were wondering if Bryce Young was for real.

Was Devin the QB who played in Levis' place when we beat yall?

No.

Devin Leary is the NC State QB transfer and was one of the top QB transfers in the portal.

Agreed. He led Arky to back to back winning seasons with the supporting cast of Treylon Burks in 21 and little else last year.

And yet you should know by now that the winning teams get the spoils. Now, if Jefferson did something historic like beat BAMA or jump up and beat Georgia then the accolades would be singing his fame.

Going 7-6 and 3-5 in the conference doesn't get you a statute in the SEC.

I slept walked thru that. LOL. Finally got a little comfortable with how things are going here and tuned the outside stuff out, I guess.

Who said anything about statues? We’re talking about Spencer Rattler and Will Rogers.

He technically has 2 more years of eligibility too (COVID). Can you imagine the volume stats he'd be able to accrue staying 2 more years had Leach not passed away? He's already 1st all-time in SEC history in pass completions and attempts and is about 2500 yards away from the passing yards record, so he should break that record this year too if he stays healthy. He needs 40 TD passes to set that record as well

Will Rodgers is in the lower tier of SEC QBs.

It will be interesting to see Rogers in the new system. It's a completely different offense than frankly doesn't fit his skill set. Air raid was a perfect match for someone of his talent level and it's the only system he's played in since HS.

Not that those players aren't good, but until some new faces emerge, that's a pretty weak slate relative to the past several years in the SEC. Should be an interesting, fun season.

Jaxson Dart was pretty good towards the end of the year last year. I'm sure he will take a step forward in year 2 under Lane's tutelage.

And Will Rogers is about to show the SEC how passing stats are mostly a product of the scheme.

As far as Jefferson is concerned I've never been impressed with him. To each his own.

yeah that list could be completely different by next season's end and it wouldn't surprise me at all.

Tell him to speak up. We can hardly hear him from way down there.

So Jefferson gets blamed for one loss where he didn't even play and another where he wasn't 100% and could barely throw the ball? Makes sense. He had the 2nd highest QBR in the conference last year.

To an extent I get holding a team's record against/for a QB but by that logic Jake Browning was a better college QB than Patrick Mahomes because he went to the CFP lol

I don't make the rules. The media and coaches do. I said, personally, he's not that impressive. You may have to live with that.

Is he certain to be the starter?

A top 5 list without a bama or uga player is so preseason. Postseason will likely include both of them.
