Southern Cal, partially because I admire how they've maintained the black cleat/white socks that's so classic. Big arse numbers and no names on the backs of the jerseys. Also classic. Southern Cal also has the best fight song. College football is better when Southern Cal is really good.

The common thing that the top 5 or 6 have in common is consistency and tradition(al).
You could show the Texas helmet to an eight year old Japanese child and they'd know it represents the Texas Longhorns.

Other than USC, the other 4 "mysteriously" appear on uniform lists. (As if no other schools existed.)
