SECCG had the second highest ratings.

So much for that group that thought they would boycott it.

Just goes to show you that even during Auburn's greatest season ever, Bama still gets more attention

...and the Big 12 will no longer have a championship game - their TV contract renewal should doom that conference

Well 1 of those games was played against Georgia and 1 was played in Georgia, so most likely America is still confused on our location.....I still stand by my theory:

Goes to show you how big the NFL is. Even regular season games.

Same as the IB...the day after Thanksgiving. Not much other football to watch.

That's because Walmart was open and Bama wasn't playing.

Probably had something to do with lopsided margin of victory as well.

I must have missed that close game in 2009.

I have to disagree with this. NFL is huge but they only have like, 6-7 games on TV per week (if you don't count Sunday Ticket).

So, if we want to watch NFL football on a monday/thursday/sunday night we are forced to watch whatever game they've chosen, whereas in college you've got several games on several channels all day.

I will do something I never do and defend au on this one. Last year's vote was close and no one knew for sure who was going to win. This year it wasn't close and everyone knew it.
