Too early to judge Bryan Harsin, but recruiting has been below average so far

No big name commits or even serious potentials that are on the radar as of yet.
It takes top 5 classes to seriously compete against LSU, Georgia, and Alabama (unless Cam Newton or Nick Marshall fall in your lap).
The future of Auburn football looks bleak.

It’s early but usually you get that new coach energy and he at least kills the first class.
I’d be extremely concerned about how much it looks like he’s going to rely on the transfer portal. Red flags are flying for me personally but we shall see

I'm glad you're starting to acknowledge reality. This is going to be Chad Morris 2.0 if the croots don't show up PDQ.

Auburn looks like it may be taking a big step back in recruiting and Tennessee is a shitbox inferno flying 90 mph towards a 450’ cliff
Can you assholes at least try and help out on hurting Bama? fricking Saban is getting strong and y’all are making it easier.
Jimbos recruiting great but that 1970’s offense will never beat Bama

“Lanett four-star Caden Story to decide between Auburn and UCF”
You know Gus is a real piece of work sabotaging Auburns class this year

I think they'll be fine eventually.
Auburn should pull top 10 classes every year based on their location alone and they usually do.
You shoulda kept Garner around after you canned Gus.He definitely pulled some studs outta Georgia.

While I agree with your analysis, as a Bama fan, I won't necessarily lose sleep over it.

Who would have imagined hiring a average coach from the mountain west conference wouldn’t lead to decent recruiting

Gus has probably been talking to him for at least 3 years. Relationships matter. Harsin only kept one Malzahn coach, so they are way behind. He will have to step it up in the coming years and learn the South fast. He’s a big believer in development because Boise always performed way better than their recruiting rankings. I think that works in an area like Oline, but you have to have some studs to go with those developed guys.
