SEC is fcked

Tennessee baseball head coach Tony Vitello is getting paid. Vitello and the University of Tennessee have reached a new agreement that makes him the highest paid coach in college baseball. Vitello’s new agreement is for $3 million annually on a five-year deal that runs through June 30, 2029.

On the money side of things, the UT Knoxville baseball program brought home $3,016,436 in revenue and paid out $6,250,169 in total expenses. Unfortunately, that means the program lost money, racking up a net loss of $-3,233,733.

Does this mean Tennessee Baseball is now losing somewhere around $4,500,000 a year now? WTF Vols

College baseball doesn't generate a lot of money.

How is this possible? We’ve been told by Vols fans that you have unlimited money to spend on baseball and it’s evident now that you have the highest paid coach in the country. No more excuses for your shitty baseball history.

We have plenty of money and $3 million a year being gone won’t even be noticed. Tennessee is also spending $100 million on renovations to the baseball stadium. Sorry you don’t know what it’s like to be able to pay coaches whatever you want.

Good to see schools throwing money into sports like baseball. It will give them less for football.

When he got here it sure as hell wasn’t here. You sure seem upset about soft Paul and his low T brand of ball

Tennessee will not miss a beat when it comes to spending money. We have some of the richest donors in the country.

Haslams family- $15 Billion

Charlie Ergen- $9 Billion (founder of DISH)

Peyton Manning- $300+ million

Alan Jones- $1 billion (Founder Check into Cash)

John Tickle- $70 million

Spyre Sports- is raising $25-$30 million a year for NIL.

Berkshire Hathaway LLC-$900 Billion (Owner of Pilot Oil) you know the new logo that’s on the field for next 20 years?

Tennessee isn’t running out of money anytime soon! If anything, Tennessee is just getting started. We have one of the best AD’s in the country when it comes to raising moneys

You missed a couple.

Min Kao - co-founder of Garmin $6.2 billion

Charlie Anderson - former player and owner of Anderson Media Corp., Books-A-Million, TNT Fireworks, and several other businesses. $Hundreds of millions. He wrote a check for the football program's Anderson Training Complex.

Charlie Anderson floated up to the Vol Navy in this little outboard. You can get a scale by looking at the people standing up top.

He won't bring it again. It bottomed out in the Tennessee River while going back home to Florida.

Am I the only one that thinks that is way too much for baseball coaches
I remember when LSU paid Mainieri $1 million
I don't think baseball coaches are worth that much

Nick Saban's first contract with LSU was for 2.3 million a year.

I didn’t miss them, I just wanted to name a few just for reference. I didn’t feel the need to name them all, but instead just prove to this dipshit that the Vols are not running out of money.
