Doubt he gets drafted but he could very well be a guy who fights for a roster spot. What some fans fail to see is that LSU recruited WR very well and that's why Quinn left. He wasn't bad while at LSU, but LSU landed some big time recruits.

That's because we have good WRs on our team. He was just passed up on the depth chart. It's a good problem for us to have and I wish Trey nothing but the best. He is a talented kid and a class act. Just quit talking now cuz you're just embarrassing yourself by the second.

Sorry Speedy Noil is still on our team and Trey Quinn had to transfer.

A quick history search shows this seems to be a sensitive issue for you. Enjoy watching Noil snag touchdowns this fall.

Have a good one

Speedy plays the way he did last year, there's no chance he'll get drafted high.

That is deflection.

Not really, I'm not trying to avoid the topic or anything. I was responding to that specific post, not trying to change the overall topic of the thread or keep people from talking about it.

Maybe you just don't want me to refer to any incidents involving Auburn players, even though it is perfectly cool to act like whatever Tony Brown may have done reflects on all Alabama players.

Has anymore info been released? It's kind of odd how little has been so far isn't it?

to talk about things that aren't surprising coming from Bama players, then I'm going to fire back with things that aren't surprising coming from Auburn players.

Pretty fair. Everybody here lives on a glass house and will defend it with rocks unfortunately.

not to my knowledge. I don't think the university has even confirmed yet, just the Tuscaloosa News getting the scoop. would imagine we'll get some kind of statement tomorrow now that this story is out, though not sure what level of detail to expect before the appeals process is concluded.

whole story is unusual for sure but the lack of info isn't that atypical from the way saban does things. runs a tight ship. like i said, I'm sure we'll get some kind of formal response to the story this week with a bit more info.

brown has still been practicing with the team this spring thus far. not sure if that means anything other than that the appeal is still ongoing but just saying.

Actually that's incorrect but carry on

Looks like they made a change in 2015. Street drugs is now 50% of the season. PEDs is still a year.

Both are actually indefinite suspensions because in addition to the fixed term, they remain suspended until they test clean.

Not if it is a failed drug test. The NCAA suggested language for release (page 12 in this document) is:

“The student-athlete in question was found in violation
of the NCAA eligibility rules and has been declared
ineligible.”
