It’s an ok bourbon but a 90 proof for 70-80$ is too much for me.

To be truthful, I've only had a few samples from a friend's bottle. I can't afford it. Can't lie.

I’m drinking Knob Creek single barrel select 120 proof.

Owner of JW Steakhouse in Priceville,Al goes to the distillery and selects the barrel and ingredients and they ship him the bottles. Friend of mine who frequents that place got me a bottle for Christmas. It’s pretty good, but very strong

That's a Barrell Picks...your local liquor or grocery store can do this.

He only cares about how much it cost. It's a pretty standard flex.

60-80 dollar bourbon isn’t expensive these days. It’s not gut rot but it’s nothing to flex on.

Now a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle is a flex

Overrated by a mile. Should've just gotten a cheap bourbon and called it a day
Over the years I've tried everything from gimmicky, trendy, ultra expensive to super cheap and come to the conclusion Wild Turkey 101 simply cant be beaten if price is taken into account. It's one of a very small handful of cheap bourbons that can be drunken straight while you're still sober.

Knob Creek used to be fairly cheap..then it started scoring pretty high by these self appointed Bourbon experts on the internet and now priced accordingly. Still on the inexpensive end and one of my faves though.

I think Rare Breed is the best bang for your buck.

I like the 12 year old Knob Creek small batch. 100 proof. Smooth

Double Oaked Woodford is good also.

The seasonal changes in Kentucky move the boubon in and out of the oak and play a huge part in the flavor. Expansion and contraction do the work there as well as rolling the barrels. Where they are stored also plays a part.

Weller has the same mash bill as Pappy but is stored slightly differently. It is still pretty damn good. Both distilled at Buffalo Trace.
