Do you believe both Muffin and Freeze will be one of those long time coaches for your respective school?

Freeze obviously has already had a good deal of success pretty fast. Mullen had kept State very consistent since about 2010?

But the real question is....do either of them leave? Mullen and Freeze have really elevated themselves to either the tip top of the program's history or very close to it. Mullen came from an SEC superpower in Florida so he does have a taste of the big time. Freeze has already proven hes a top notch coach, cause he was just a 4th down away from going to AND winning the SEC since....my dad was in diapers. He's also beaten Alabama twice in a row for goodness sake.

But there is always that Mississippi curse man. Both are right next to the GOAT in Alabama and neither have had a reputation for being a historical power from the beginning.

Mullen is begging for a taker but no one will offer. Freeze will be here as long as he keeps winning.

The only better cultural fit in college football head coaching than Freeze & Ole Miss is Art Briles at Baylor. Freeze isn't going anywhere.

Freeze was born in Oxford, Ms. Not saying he wouldn't ever leave for somewhere else but highly unlikely.

I do believe Freeze is at his dream job.

Mullen clearly wants out and is gonna bolt when he gets an offer

Heard that Mullen interviewed for the Florida job when Muschamp got it, but that the administration down there found him too arrogant. He got in touch with Miami this year, and they didn't want him. He's not from the South, he's from New Hampshire. State was his first HC job, but I'm sure he viewed it as a stepping stone. Except that he's gotten stuck in the pasture among the cow patties.

Hugh Freeze has not only called Ole Miss his dream job, but he grew up in Independence, Ms, which is just about a half hour drive from Oxford. He is already making $4.3 million, and the stadium is being expanded again in time for the 2016 opener in Oxford against Wofford. He has continuity among his staff and is on track to pull down the #1 recruiting class in the nation in February. His wife and girls love it in Oxford, and he won't leave unless he suddenly loses it or gets sick or something.

Mullen will be going into his eighth year this fall, and if he loses to Freeze for the third time in a row and four of the last five, I wouldn't expect him to keep his job.

Some of you guys are tripping if y'all don't think Freeze would leave for say a Texas. If Texas offered say 7 million, Ole Miss wouldn't match. No state tax, and a top 5 talent rich state in a average at best conference.

The one thing that I would say could keep him in Oxford besides the things already mentioned, is the immense amount of talent already on campus he would be leaving for a steaming pile of crap. Also its tough moving kids during those teenage years if you aren't forced to.

Freeze would not leave for Texas for 7 million. It's not about money. How much better can you live on 7 million than you can on 4? Especially with the cost of living in Mississippi. Coming from an Ole Miss fan, your post is ridiculous. Freeze is where he wants to be. That's it. BTW, the 2016 Ole Miss class is currently rated #1. You don't need to coach at Texas to do that.

Your fear is palpable. The meltdown from OM is gonna be glorious as you'll go back to being irrelevant. He gone.

I'm sure 'Bama would like to see him gone. Saban does not like losing to anyone. Certainly not twice in a row.

The pressure at a school like Texas is nothing compared to any SEC school. Boosters would be keeping him up 24/7.
