He is. That's great that he did a nice thing but it doesn't change anything about his coaching acumen. I didn't say he was a bad guy. Cam Newton helps out kids too, and we all know how you feel about him
Shall we compare Les Mile's record since he has been at LSU to the coaching record of the collective head coaches you have had at Auburn during that same time period. Please define "coaching acumen" because winning apparently is not part of that definition.

In the six years Les Miles has been at LSU he has coached in less than five games where he hasn't had more talent than the other team. Despite that he has never gone a season without losing at least two games. 80% of your own fans can't wait for him to be gone. That's pretty telling.

Man there are some totally classless Auburn and Bama posters in this threat

Ummm, where are these "classless" Bama posters you are talking about?
Posted on 12/3/10 at 9:42 pm to bamaboy87
Read some of the above post, I thought that would be self explanatory
Posted on 12/3/10 at 9:43 pm to JJT
There have been 3 Bama posters in this thread. None of them has said anything classless

Les is a great human being, extremely ethical, etc. I think pretty much all fan bases respect him and would be happy with him as their coach. In reality, when you go places in Baton Rouge and read messages boards, it is LSU fans who bash him. Granted, most of these idiots never stepped foot in an LSU classroom, but they bang on Les if he falls short of being undefeated each year. One good example are some idiot radio hosts, like the Ott guy in BR.100% of AU fans I know like and respect Les. About 50% of LSU fans I know act that way.
Also, I support Auburn in the Cam situation, but Les and LSU did not recruit Cam because they knew of the potential for trouble and did not want a kid going to class for one semester, then quiting school and going pro, especially with his baggage. AU didn't even go hard after Cam, but AU is closer to home.
Les didn't weant Perriloux either, but when Les was hired, RP had committed to TX and the locals were presurring Les, so he pulled RP from TX and handled RP as well as anyone could have.

Most of us are just afraid Les will leave and LSU will hire someone who can actually coach. Kinda like Mike Archer.
Nice story about the hospital visit, though.

I am a fan of but one football team. That number will increase to two the second Miles takes another coaching job.

He's a nice guy, but he's still a clock management retard.
I agree

So you have a terrible coach, everyone in the country knows it, but somehow it makes AU classless? Good swamp logic there.

Nothing to add to that...

Doesn't that last sentence apply to just about every coach in the SEC?
Secondly, why is that relevant? You fail to mention of the six seasons he's been at LSU, here are the records of four of those six seasons.....
11-2
11-2
12-2
10-2
Are you seriously bashing him for this?....................................Really?

The majority of your own fans can't stand him.
