don;t think it was so much a Stidham problem as it was a WR and TE problem. He would drop back with time, and then buy a little more, and either he can't see downfield or they are not getting open. I think it is the latter.

We do not have a TE

Fark/gif help for Auburn refugee pls

Can someone make one of Stidham falling throwing backwards to Kodi last night and put it next to one of Jeremy throwing backwards against LSU? Would like to label it "This is Auburn"

I have no more dignity with this clown coach.

First trip there next week. Any must-see joints famous for burgers or wings or whatever?

Loved me some Kenny Irons too

I think they could both win with our talent/program, and any losses by them would at least "feel" like we gave ourselves a chance by trying to play/call a normal game.

I give < 2 shits about their character.

Yeah lots of shitshows. But I gotta feel that Freeze or Sumlin are better shitshows to endure than Gus' seemingly irrational, stubborn, never ending strategy.

Everyone talks about this being about a QB. But that's just a symptom.

"a. this is pretty easy to do with number 1 classes including the top players at most spots on the field.

b. they aren't just serviceable quarterbacks. AJ is still in the NFL now, McElroy was drafted and cut and is an analyst now. Blake Sims and JPW were the only serviceable quarterbacks that he has had in his run and Sims was an upperclassmen with great running backs behind him."

Again, we have talent, so I don't buy into your "a" even though most people say this. We (somehow) get talented players at skill positions and on both lines. I believe that your "b" is overstated as well. AJ was a 4 star and Mac a 3. Not Parade all Americans like ND gets. But Saban developed them into QBs that were disciplined, and that got both to the NFL. We have nothing of the sort for QBs at AU.

I believe it's all coaching/philosophy and strategy and player development. Which is of course all rolled up into the first: Gus and Rhett.

If Saban had our players I believe he could win with them. Hell I believe he could win with White OR Jeremy. He'd use Franklin effectively too. Aside from Hurts (who is a freak), he has won with only serviceable QBs over the last decade. But he makes them winners in a system that works.

Our recruiting at AU has not been QUITE as good as Bama. But we have had top 5-10 classes every year.

I believe it's all about our "system" or lack thereof.

We are no longer what I'd consider a top tier team, despite historical records. 3 years of shite and being a laughing stock would be the primary reason I feel this way.

We are a top tier program

Um, I think we should define "top tier" and possibly revisit this claim
quote:

No way we even score on offense with either JF3 or JJ at QB or without a healthy Pettway.

We basically have NO QB or NO RB right now going against one of the best defenses in college football in the last 15 years.

Well frick me rotten. Aren't you a little Debbie downer. At least allow me a brief illusion of hope for a few days before taking it up the arse Saturday.

Sickening that we could have beaten Clemson too with normal play calling like we've moved toward

Last big early game that we nailed and won? I always dread our lethargic play when I see these on the schedule.
