I would agree! That would be the most positive aspect of hiring Nick Saban.
Smith is injured. That’s why she hasn’t played at Virginia as of yet.

Would you rather have Smith, Del Rosario, and Wolfenbarger? Or Joyner, Knox, and Koval...along with Z Johnson? So far, the answer is pretty clear.

Although I do still believe that a frontcourt of Smith and Koval would be better than Johnson / Joyner and Koval, it's hard to not see that overrall the frontcourt is better. It remains to be seen how well the team gels over the next couple of months, but this team DEFINITELY has final four potential.

".....................Introducing the buffoons on the bayou..."

LSU is SUPPOSED to be one of the top jobs in college football....

Man, the LSU brand is taking a beating nationally :dope: :dope:
I'm loving what I'm seeing in terms of ball movement, offensive talent, and rim protection. Yes, the defense left a little to be desired on the perimeter, but that will get better over the next month or so. This freshman class is outstanding, and much better than our #1 class from two seasons ago.

I watched the game last night and then Kim's post game press conference. Obviously it's hard to tell how this team will perform against SEC level competition this early, considering the non-conference opponents. However, what you CAN see is that this is a VERY talented, albeit young, team. I like the upgrade at center with Koval. I LOVE the freshmen class, and Mikaylah Williams looks like she's in the best shape of her life. I can see this team making the final four, just off of what I've seen. Only time will tell, however................................................

Love Kim, but nobody really cares about Women’s basketball. I’d like to keep Jay. Verge is basically a yes man and will do whatever he is told. We will see how that works out.

Yea, okay.

LSU women's basketball home attendance last season - 10,607 per game

LSU baseball home attendance last season - 11,185 per game.

Honestly, I'd love for both coaches to stay. But if I have to choose, I'd rather we keep Kim.

Sloan is a horrendous OC

This is true. But he was an excellent quarterback coach.

Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed that. She seemed to be a little pudgy last year and it looks like she has shed those extra pounds.

She said as much in one of her preseason interviews. Her goal is to get in good enough shape that she can become a go to on-ball defender like Flau'je.
quote:

Les wouldn't change his neanderthal offense. He kept promising he would but he didn't. When I went to Lambeau expectations were high, and our first play from scrimmage was a power toss inside the tackles. If it wasn't for Tradavious White's pick and punt return we may not have scored against a mediocre Wisconsin team. I knew he was gone as I walked out of that iconic stadium.
BK has made terrible hires. Polian, then House, now Sloan and it's added up to incompetence at one phase of the game or the next. He's got to go 9-3 or I'm off the wagon.

I must admit, THAT game in Wisconsin is when Les lost me. We were preseason #2 and he PROMISED over the summer that he was going to open up the offense and use our receivers more. When they trotted out the EXACT SAME OFFENSE that game, I was done. I don't have NEAR the "despair" or "anger" with Kelly, that I did for Miles at the end..............................
Yea, similar to the sellout game in Baltimore a couple of seasons ago for Angel Reese, I'm not surprised that this game is also a sellout. Flau'je is very popular back in her home.

People are saying that Mikaylah looks fat? :dunno:

It really is! lol.. I can’t wait for this season!

Oh, with Fulwiley joining the team, and the game vs SC being in the PMAC, this is one of the most anticipated seasons for the women's team in recent memory!

Hanny and Dickson had no qualms about calling out Brad Davis on the post-game radio show last night. Dickson basically said that the line is soft, mentally and physically, and poorly coached. I don't see how Davis survives as OL coach after this season. His unit is at the heart of the offensive problems.

Sam Pittman is going to be available at the end of this season. Makes sense to go after him to coach our OL...........................................
Wow,. you're making me feel old. That was the first LSU game I ever attended!

I was in the student section for that game. STILL the craziest environment at a football game that I've EVER experienced!!!!!!

:geauxtigers: :geauxtigers:
She and Seimone set the foundation for this program. Sylvia may be the greatest center in women's basketball history..................or at least the last 30 years.

:geauxtigers:
He is STILL my favorite LSU coach. But, at the time he was let go, it was time. His refusal to change that offense was his undoing. I knew after that opening game in 2016 against Wisconsin, that it was time to move on. He wasted the talent on that team.............................
