I think Mearah O'Neal would be a PERFECT fit for what this team needs and likes to do!

It's a bunch of male chauvinists on this board. They don't really like women.
That's pretty obvious. Somebody on here even suggested that you have "low T" if you enjoy women's basketball.
I mean, you must be one of these ignorant red pillers to believe that s@$t. LOL! Manhood has NOTHING to do with what sport you watch.

She was literally just on her interview yesterday talking about coaching for many more years. The original post is an attention seeking troll.
You can best believe she's not going anywhere before Caroline Bradley steps on campus.

surely you understand the WNBA hemorrhages money.
It only stays alive because of the large NBA subsidies.
Even the WNBA itself projects this new deal would result in $700 million in operating losses over the course of the new CBA.
The league is kept afloat by the NBA's subsidies.
Surely, you understand that the OWNERS value the league. Surely you understand that ownership groups are lining up to start new franchises (which are coming this season and the following next two seasons). So, nobody cares about the "subsidies". All that matters is how the league is VALUED. Just let these ladies get what they deserve, like any other sports league and be happy for them.

yep, the NBA wants to pour even more subsidies down the drain to prop up a league that can't survive on its own.
So much for merit.
Merit........................?
This was a NEGOTIATION. Merit has nothing to do with it. LOL!
The ladies got what they deserve, and moreover they got what they could NEGOTIATE. Why? Because they had the upper hand. This is what is lost on people like yourself.
Just to keep y'all up to date, in terms of salaries in the WNBA.........

Women’s basketball is a waste of money and resources. They lose over $3m+ a year.
No reason that they should get their own share of revenue
Good thing we actually have a competent staff in our athletic department that know better than this, rather than a moron like this.

Yep, it's official. Apparently, we didn't even get a visit from Okeke...........................

That may be the case, but Zakiyah will NOT be starting. You can bank on that.
I think there's no doubt that they want to move Zakiyah to the 3 to be Mikaylah's primary backup, and I also believe they're going to go heavy in the portal for two power forwards and / or a center.

Even though we had a 4pt lead going into halftime, it only means that we are still in the game. To beat SC, we need to get stronger as the game closes. Especially against SC, the last 5 min of play needs to be our best 5 minutes.
SC is a great team, but as we saw with Texas, they are beatable. Take SC off of their game and play with the utmost intensity especially as the game closes and we can beat them.
We will get there. We're close, but not quite there.
I completely agree!

I think elite 8 is the ceiling for this team
I mean..................................that's still a pretty high "ceiling".
Right now SC is just a better team / program than LSU. But the good news is, there's not much difference between the two. The difference, in my opinion, is composure late in games.....................especially this season, when they have perhaps the best point guard in college. But we are not that far off. We just need to learn how to close out against the great teams.
The good thing that came out of this tournament, however, is that we probably moved up a place in the NCAA seed line. With Vandy losing to Ole Miss in the quarterfinals and us beating Oklahoma, the latest bracketology has us as the 2nd lowest #2 seed. Which now means Vanderbilt would be in the bracket with UConn and LSU would be in the bracket with UCLA...........................who I think LSU could beat in the elite eight.

Our losses to South Carolina at this point are not because "they have better players", or "bigger players", or even "the refs". Since Mulkey arrived they've lost to SC seven times, six of those games have been by SINGLE DIGITS. The reason we're losing to them........................and you can go back and watch highlights of all those games.................is that they are more COMPOSED in the fourth quarter than we are, CONSISTENTLY. This is what is separating the two programs at this point, and it is up to this coaching staff to correct that.
With that being said, I still believe that this team can make the final four. We're close enough to SC, that any other team.................other than perhaps, UConn...................is beatable by this team. I fully expect us to make the elite eight, and then from there anything can happen.

Clean steal by Bella there, Chavez whining
For those that don't know, Bella and Chavez are friends. They were the two starting guards on their summer team for two years running.
LSU is actually ranked #7 in the NCAA's latest top 16 reveal. As was stated before, I do believe the reason they have us in the bracket with UConn is because they don't want the SEC teams being #1 and #2 in any bracket, which means that Vandy gets moved to either UCLA or UConn, and by default LSU gets UConn because between the two, they are CURRENTLY the lowest #2. I think if LSU can make a run to the SEC tournament championship game, there's a chance to change that.

I think Flau’jae biggest issue this year has been consistency. She’s been really good some games and not so much others .
I would absolutely agree with this take.
