Thanks for the reply, and hoping for a godspeed recovery for Mr. Cangelosi. There are many people who would have simply looked the other way and chosen to not become involved.

Thanks for sharing the story. I hadn't heard that, and it definitely makes me think even more highly of Les as a person.

The majority of the LSU fan base does like Les Miles as our coach. Maybe the majority of LSU fans who post here don't. Big difference!

Chizik and some Auburn coaches went down to Florida to help some preacher who's church was falling down and condemned....how nice! Tis the season.

The psychology of the LSU fan lends it's self to this. They are such a self-loathing fanbase. The coach, especially one like Miles that likes to be in close games, is going to be hated. It's like why the most popular guy on campus is always the backup QB. Correlation isn't causation here.

Mad props to Miles. Anytime a coach takes out the time to help someone in need it shows great charachter.

You my friend have become the "laughing stock" of this thread.
How would you ever know if most LSU fans dislike Miles? Only someone that believes what he reads on the internet is the gospel truth could make that assumption.
Yes, all coaches and teams do stuff like this. Many do it as part of the athletic department PR campaigns, not of their own gumption. That has been true of LSU in the past. Miles does this stuff because it is part of his character. This doesn't mean that there aren't other coaches who are similar.
It would be nice for the rest of us if you would discontinue posting until you develop your "reasoning acumen".

In an earlier post you used a larger number - 80%. I want you to explain to me how you know that the majority or 80% of LSU fans hate Les Miles. Please say that you know that because you read the Tiger Rant.
