Not me. I’m sitting here admiring my back to back Natty plaque, happily awaiting the fall as I wonder how a program like Bama could have fallen so hard and so fast. How any university could allow a player who was an accomplice to the murder of a young mother wear their uniform.
How do you feel about the scandal involving UGA athletics staff and players killing one another by street racing while drunk in UGA supplied vehicles?

You compare a really poor and reckless decision that resulted in a tragic accident to a murder? They are both bad situations, but one is far worse.

We got a dude who was in my fraternity at LSU who is a big Bama fan and grew up on the Northshore. Not sure if he actually graduated but he's a douche and none of us have much of anything to do with him other than swiping thru the Facebook feed.

I believe they have. But this is somehow different.

Alabama fans who are from Louisiana have some major little man syndrome, always angry.
Probably why crime is so high in New Orleans and Baton Rouge.

Nope, according to this board those are all native Louisiana folk. You can figure the rest out, home school.

Just depends on the type of organization they're employed with.
Just judging the books by their covers, I'd say they probably aren't white collar types and thus likely not in any danger of professional repercussions.

You think drunks who kill people by racing on roadways in excess of 100mph in vehicles with multiple passengers aren't murderers? Even if one of your loved ones is their victim? You excuse Dawgs for doing it since they were celebrating back-to-back Natty's? Do you also excuse former Bama WR Henry Ruggs?

Nothing. They just keep hoping this scandal will go away. It isn’t going anywhere
Actually it is being kept alive by desperate individuals (who have very little understanding of law.) Most people realize that Miller is innocent and the murder is miles (who is in jail)

No I don’t think they are murderers. You have to have the intent to kill to be a murderer. Although they were reckless, they didn’t have the intent to kill anyone. Which is definitely different.

I have enough understanding of the law to recognize favoritism when I see it. This guy is guilty of participating in a murder and because he is a big shot Bama BB player he gets away with it. This story is being kept alive because Bama can’t stop themselves from making one stupid mistake after another. Playing a guy who should be in jail with his thug buddies, pre game pat downs mocking the murder, a couch infected with foot in the mouth disease, fans who wear tees celebrating murder and desperately try to justify this disgusting guy’s behavior. A guy who prances around the court with no sense of remorse. The killer Miller chants are only going to get louder. It’s not going away

More likely to be bama fans than the claimed bama fans on the SECR.

I lament the fact that ANYONE is keeping it alive. On behalf of everyone from every fanbase on this forum that is sick and tired of hearing about Miller or the UGA car crash or any of that crap I am anxiously counting down the days till spring football practice starts and maybe, just MAYBE we will have something better to talk about and this stuff will go away for good...or at least go to some other place besides a sports forum. But that's just me...

Until there is accountability for murder participation we all need to keep this story going. When winning becomes more important than holding people responsible for their criminal actions we have a problem that needs fixing fast

I'm not trivializing the magnitude of what happened in these tragic events. But I come to this and other forums for the same reason I watch college football games on Saturday in the fall; to forget about the mundane and troubles of life for a while and enjoy one of the great pleasures of life. When you get on here and all you hear about is murder and car crashes and jail and arrests, it defeats the purpose of getting on a sports forum. I'm a chaplain for a hospice agency, I stand over dying people for a living. I don't like to get together with other sports fans and talk about death. I'd much rather talk about UGA's chance of a 3-peat or our wonderful TE room, etc. etc. But that's just me...
