Not gonna read 7 pages of the board putting this nonsense in check so if it's already been mentioned sorry. A&M is the new Auburn. They beat BAMA and all of a sudden the delusion sets in. A&M is forgetting that OleMiss was 2 inches away on forth down from beating them. Ask Tebow, Urban Meyer and Gus Mahlzahn how fun the SEC is after everyone figures out your tricks. If A&M were able to man up, line up and out execute SEC defenses then maybe you would have a point. Until then see how long the no huddle, hurry up, offensive tackle lined up as a wide out crap flies around this league.

You're making my point for me. Arky has 1/10th the resources and recruiting potential as A&M. Yet they managed do pretty well the last 5 years.

TAMU fans will start to realize that there is a power structure in place here in the SEC West and that it will take more than a monumental effort to displace a certain team from the top. League offices just will not allow it to happen.

And you are making my point for me... It's all potential until you do something with it (and A&M has done so well with all that potential in the past). Next year teams will have an off season to prepare for your offense (as you installed a new HC they didn't have that this year). And you can't assume your coach is as good as Petrino after one season. Johnny Football is going to spend an off season with every one telling him how awesome he is. His work ethic will suffer and he'll have a sophomore slump. All the while your defense will start to deteriorate.
You've had one good year. Don't let it go to your heads just yet. This is the SEC. Everyone will be looking to lay the lumber to you next year. Just because Auburn and Arkansas took the year off, don't expect them to continue to play dead. Be happy you were competitive this year, and hope and pray it wasn't just a flash in the pan.

So A&M is the new Arky , right? Johnny had a the best season OF ALLTIME and they still finished 3rd in the west and 5th overall in the SEC , but a national title is near.

Logic. A&M loses a good bit on defense. A def thy performed well at times. A&M doesn't have the depth to win the SEC , yet. Their 1s can run with anyone
