only sour sec opposing fans will take Tebow....
The only answer is Cam.
I have been told repeatedly that Cam is all we have, so using that logic, Tebow was surrounded by better talent and still hasn't outperformed Cam.

I've seen both play, give me Newton. He's quicker, and I think he's every bit the passer Tebow was.

funny. that was the 2nd thing i thought. "both are amazing, and i wouldn't care from an athletic standpoint... but newton is a cocky sucker.. and tebow at least PLAYED the part of humble."

What are we basing this on? If you are going by accomplishments, then you have to say Tebow - a Heisman, two national title rings, and a shite ton of awards.
If you are going by on field production it is harder to say because Tim had a lot more playing time, three full seasons as a starter in the SEC and Cam will have one, maybe two at the most. Tebow may have had a better arm (dunno, Cam hasn't had to throw that much) but I think Cam is the better runner. Tebow's runs were mostly in the under 15 yard range, were they not? Newton can get into space and be hasta la bye bye in a hurry.

Tebow is not close to the same player Newton is. It's Newton and it's really not that close. Tebow will have the better overall career due to being there four years and far superior surrounding talent but Newton is the bigger impact player.

Lets compare apples to apples here...Tebow definitely had more talent all the way around...Newton in UF's 2008 offense...equals UF undefeated plus heisman...

You aren't slightly biased against a bunch of Auburn folks lovin' up on their Heisman candidate after a huge conference win that propels them to #1 in the BCS?
I hear you, but I think it's great. Auburn is a hard team not to like for the BCSCG right now.
It was anything BUT classless. Those people love their football hero, and he loves them back.
