I only thought the Aggies would claim something like walking as a tradition. I guess I was wrong.

Auburn fans are copying Clemson fans by bragging about stupid shite like this so they can get attention.

They should sling toilet paper at the players as they "tigerwalk" into the stadium.
Now that would be an interesting original tradition !

Why does Jordan-Hare Stadium have hedges?

Auburn has ONE mascot, a tiger. Our battle cry is War Eagle.

Yep, and I don't see anyone copying that.

So auburn invented teams walking to the stadium? And fans cheering for them as they did so?
Lol
For the record, I was the first guy to ever take a piss... I invented the act of pissing.
I'll give you this....auburn may have taken something that everyone does and was the first one to attach a "name" to it.

the most copied CFB tradition is homecoming as invented by the University of Missouri!
That's a high school thing. No self respecting college would do homecoming.

There were a lot more than 20k people there in 89.
I was a kid with my dad and granddad and we were parked at the top of the hill on Donahue. From the top of the hill to the stadium it was packed with people. I would say more like 50k. Maybe 20k in the street because no more could fit, but parking lots, grass etc was packed as far as you could see.

As long as the auburn tradition of hiring high school coaches and going winless in the conference isn't copied, I'm good.

Nope. The Wake Forest tradition of senselessly TP'ing predates Auburn's.
General search result consensus seems to point to the aftermath of the Demon Deacon’s football win over Georgia Tech to clinch the 2006 ACC Championship as the most extensive rolling of the quad in recent memory, but the tradition supposedly started in the late 50s after the university moved from the actual town of Wake Forest to Winston-Salem. According to at least one educated guess, that’s slightly before the first substantial assaults on Toomer’s Corner began.
They copied WF's tp antics ! Too damn funny !!!!!

So even the TP isn't original.
