The only team with 3 real rivals is Texas.

Auburn has a bigger, more historic rivalry with both Florida and LSU compared to Texas’ rivalry with Arkansas.

I hate losing Ga and Fla to be honest

We have lots of losses to make up now that we are finally doing better.

I think I read that every 5 years it will be reviewed.

More wins over Bama than any other team in the nation.

LSU

Tennessee would be in the second tier and Auburn would be in the first tier.

All time wins

Tennessee: 877 - 418 - 53 = .670
Auburn: 807 - 478 - 47 =.623

Sit down and STFU.

If we was hated before we are really going to be hated now.

That would have to be one of the top 3 easiest permanent rivalry set ups.

Vandy is looking like a better program than 75% of the conference right now.

That one is usually temporary for Vandy.
The ones on top will bounce back up on top. Vandy is now doing well and will fall back down once again.

Bama, Kentucky, Vandy

In terms of balance this isn't perfect. But I do like what it might imply that traditional rivals are being used.

For both Vanderbilt and Kentucky their must have game is probably Tennessee. The interests of those fanbases should be a major part of the schedule

We want the teams we've played over 100 times in the history of our program. Not the one that we only played 20 times before divisions were established.

If true, looks like competitive balance isn't even going to be a factor.

What is this fan base you speak of that we should care about?

Bunch of narks.

I’m not surprised after how they handled their coaching search.

Most losses to Kentucky:

1. Vanderbilt - 49
2. Miss St. - 24
3. Florida - 21
4. Tennessee - 20
5. LSU - 17

Another casualty of expansion. This was a game pretty much played 3rd (or 2nd) Saturday in October for a long time.

Up until A&M joined the conference we played Kentucky more times than Auburn - despite Auburn being in the West. In fact the 2023 Auburn game just tied it up at 58 games.

Imagine the conference pitying your program so badly that they award you Vandy & UK.
